"I have been taking the citrucel tablets on and off for 3 years now. Honestly, I don't know why I stayed on it for so long. I started citrucel because when I had a colonoscopy done 3 years ago, the doctor told me to take it for constipation because I have ongoing, consistent constipation. Citrucel does NOT help me, nor do the other laxatives. I started taking apple cider vinegar (with the mother) and that seems to be helping my digestion and constipation."

"I have been using methylcellulose for several years now after a hemorrhoidectomy. I don't know what I would do without my daily intake. Keeps me regular and my stools soft and bulky! Highly recommend!"

Citrucel SF (methylcellulose) "I find use of this product very frustrating. Results are slimy faeces that won’t come out and can’t wipe off. It’s horrible."

Citrucel (methylcellulose) "I have been constipated for many years and have tried many things. None has worked as well as Citrucel powder. Metamucil made me so gassy I had to stop taking it. Citrucel has no side effects for me. I like the original powder and am finding it difficult to find. I don't want to ingest the aspartame in the sugar free one."
