"I have endometriosis and I've struggled for years to find a birth control pill that would help with the pain and irregular/heavy bleeding. I even tried the shot, which was disastrous. Tri-Sprintec, while it doesn't completely take away my symptoms, is the best that I've found for me. So, until they find a better pill, this is my choice for oral contraceptives."

"I had high hopes when starting this pill, I had read some good reviews on its website and my doctor thought it would work perfect for me. The first month on it was okay but I slowly started to become a different person, I had feelings of depression most of the time I was very pessimistic and had constant mood swings. This pill also made me very analytical, I looked into every little thing and made it seem negative. After 6 months on this I can not stand it anymore and am getting off. I am a completely different person and I haven't been cheerful in months."

"Tri-Sprintec has worked so well for me. I have been on it for two years now. It has gotten rid of my horrific cramps, cleared up my skin, shortened my period from 7 to now 4 days, gave me larger breasts, and I have even lost weight without changing my diet or exercise. The first pack I had lots of headaches but they went away after the second pack. I recommend this to anyone."

"I have been taking Sprintec for about 7-8 months now. I started on the non-generic brand and seemed fine but just recently 3 weeks ago started the generic brand. It has been TERRIBLE! I have been to the ER three times this past week with the WORST stomach cramps ( not like period cramps ) more like all over abdominal muscle cramps. I am completely stopping this medication!"

"I'm 21 and I have been on Tri-Sprintec for a month now and have not suffered from any mood swings whatsoever. I started taking this pill to calm down the irritation of endometriosis and cyst. Hopefully its been working because I have been experiencing stomach pains and nausea as if I was pregnant (early morning/night). I was wondering if anyone else has noticed any stomach pains(nothing like cramps). Overall the pill is okay."

"So, I have been taking Tri Sprintec the last 8 years & have had little complaints. Yes, I gained a few pounds when I started it, but most BC pills, you will gain weight from. However, it was a few pounds compared to Yaz, which I gained 20 lbs on. I also had the worst mood swings of my life on Yaz. So my gynecologist switched me to Tri Sprintec about 8 years ago, and I have had very few issues on this pill. My periods are shorter & I noticed my skin is clearer & I am less moody on it. Also, it has helped tremendously with my endometriosis. I still get cramping before and after my period, but it is tolerable, compared to when I took Yaz. I recommend Tri Sprintec for shorter periods, less cramping, and better skin! Again, every woman’s body will react differently, but I have had a pretty good reaction to Tri Sprintec and I have been on it for almost a decade now!"

"Used Tri-Sprintec to manage severe endometriosis pain. Within 2 months of using the pill I gained 15 lbs. My mood swings were terrible, crying all the time for no reason up to 4 times a day. Within 3 months I started getting terrible stomach aches and cramps, and alternated between constipation and diarrhea that would last for hours. I thought it was related to my endo, but when I started getting them 3-5 times a week. My doc said it was IBS, but there wasn't any correlation between what I was eating and my digestive issues. After reading some reviews I decided to stop birth control all together. Its been just over a month and I have not had a single stomach ache, diarrhea, or constipation. The mood swings have stabilized and I have not cried once. This is the best I've felt in 10 months! The only good thing I can say about this pill is it did control my endo pain. I had little to no cramping during the month, and during my cycle it was only the first few days, and was manageable."

"I've tried many methods to reduce pain and period flow for endometriosis and tri sprintec was the only thing that worked. Yeah you get nausea but that's common with birth control. I've been using it altogether for 4 years I have no children and no pain in my pelvis while using it. Was the best one for me."

"I’ll start by saying that I was on depo injection for 8 years without any issue. I quit taking it because I wanted my periods to be regular again. My periods have always been extremely rough but about a year ago I started having cramps almost constantly. This went on for months before my doctor prescribed me Tri-sprintec. It got rid of the pain & my periods were light & short which I loved, but everything else got out of control. The first month was fine, but after that things started going downhill. I am not an emotional person & I found myself crying for no reason & so depressed that I barely got out of bed. It was a huge strain on my partner & I. I also had weighed 125 pounds my entire life & have now gained 40 pounds in the past year that seemed impossible to get rid of, even while eating healthy & exercising. I quit taking this a few weeks ago & already feel a million times better. Hoping that I can lose all this weight & start feeling normal again."

"This drug is so SO horrible. I have unbearable endometriosis with extreme pain every single day and was prescribed this to help. I’m surprised at all the positive reviews on here because this pill has literally made me feel like I’m dying. EXTREME nausea constantly every single day to the point where I couldn’t get rid of it and had to go to the hospital for anti-nausea meds. Im also crying at literally everything and my mood is all over the place. If you try this birth control and start to experience these side effects, waiting it out is honestly NOT worth it, at least for me. I have been so miserable and finally decided to call it quits. So excited to start feeling normal again and explore other options for my Endo."

"For treating endometriosis and helping alleviate my painful and heavy flowing periods, this did the trick. HOWEVER it made me an absolute monster. My mood swings were out of control. I was either angry or incredibly sad all the time. My depression hit hard and I had never been more anxious than I was on this medicine. I gained weight on this and lost all of my energy. The worst parts of myself were brought to the forefront on this medicine. I talked to my doctor and she swiftly changed me to something else, and it was literally like magic when I got off of this. For two months it felt like I had totally lost it, but once I got off this medicine, I got back to myself. I’m sure this works for some people, but it did not work for me at all."

"I’ve apparently had endometriosis since the day my period started - I am now 33 years old. Only in last year I’ve had episodes that are untreatable with heat pads or ibuprofen, unbearable 10/10 cramps, hot flashes, and fatigue, in the mornings. I was put on combined birth control until it started to fail. I’m now on Tri-Sprintec. I started to get very mild cramps and light periods. It’s been 3 months and I’m finally past the hives breaking out all over my body. My skin is still sensitive but it was worth avoiding the unbearable pain, anxiety, and obvious progression of endo."

"I rated it a 4 because I have only taken it for a week now and have already experienced mood swings. I just get super angry for no reason. Nausea headaches and since I’ve been taking it I’ve been getting severe stomach cramps. I want to keep taking it to help my periods because they are painful and long due to endometriosis so hopefully it will stop but we will see."
