Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I'm pregnant with twins and after 6 weeks I started having severe nausea and at 10 weeks the vomiting came along my doctor prescribed diclegis.. It works the only downfall is the after taste....I have this horribly bitter taste in my mouth. I don't even know which is better the nausea or the bitter taster"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "My doctor recommended this for my morning sickness. I was desperate to control the vomiting because I needed to go to work. I got extreme heartburn when I eat no matter what. Eating was painful. If I skipped a dose I would vomit uncontrollably. It was horrible. One day I threw up blood. I had noticed prior times that it seemed like blood spots, but I thought it was only in my head. By my 7 month of pregnancy I still felt horrible and could not get of the pills. I started to feel chest pains. One night I woke of from the pain in my arm and chest. Very scary. I stopped taking the medicine that day."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "From week 6 to week 16 of my pregnancy I was nauseous every single day and would puke several times a day every day, it was horrible! I finally gave in when my doctor kept recommending Diclegis and decided to give it a try though wasn't convinced it would work. I was taking it for 2 weeks straight and it was a miracle, total game changer! I wish I would have started taking it sooner! No side effects for me and I can now eat normal again! At week 18 I decided to get off of it thinking my nausea has probably gone away but nope, a day after I stopped taking it, I ended up puking up my whole dinner again. The next day I started taking it again and works like a charm! I have never had so much success with any kind of medication before! Def recommend trying it out!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Bonjesta is a life-saver. My vomiting and nausea was so bad that I ended up in the hospital after I couldn’t keep food/water down for over 3 days. My doctor first prescribed me Promethezine, which helped at first but wore off. Then, Zofran worked for about 48 hrs and the vomiting was worse than ever after that. My doctor then gave me some samples of Bonjesta. I began taking just one pill at night, and viola! Not only could I easily sleep throughout the night (this medication makes you VERY drowsy) but I woke up feeling like a new person. Bonjesta is the only medication that helped the following day and not only at night. I skipped one day of taking it and vomited 6 times. I later ran out of pills and missed two days. I took Zofran as I waited for my refill, and was unable to even keep dry toast down, when I had previously enjoyed a cheeseburger, Chinese food and more on Bonjesta. Bonjesta is the only thing that has truly helped my nausea and vomiting and I highly recommend it."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "With my 1st pregnancy, I suffered from severe morning sickness to the point that I lost a significant amount of weight. With my second pregnancy, I started getting very sick again and mentioned it to a nurse at my OB GYN office and she prescribed me Diclegis. Prior to that I had tried many other homeopathic solutions such as the Sea Bands and ginger. None of these worked for me. The diclegis worked from the morning after I first took them until now. At 12 weeks pregnant, I thought I might be out of the woods so I stopped taking the Diclegis last night. I have been nauseous all day and vomiting! It is obvious that these meds work. I will be taking them again for the next 2 weeks. Only complaint is I'm more fatigued than usual when taking it"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Just started this medication and have had a great improvement! I’m taking the full 4 pill dosage. I was a regular unisom user before taking this, so I don’t not find it makes me very drowsy, maybe a little midday but who doesn’t get tired in the afternoon? Totally worth it to not feel sick and miserable - I had moderate to severe all-day nausea, no vomiting. I’m trying to get on a schedule of taking all 4 spread out (vs two at bedtime) to get really consistent levels, since it does not make me very drowsy. This medicine helps me get through the day with my toddler! It is a little expensive, but worth it for me, feeling sick is the worst. Together with some lemon candies and magnesium spray for random waves of nausea, it’s a good combo."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "My last pregnancy I had morning sickness the whole time. I took zofran, but this time its not recommended. So my doc gave me diclegis. I've been on it for about 4weeks and I can't even get out of bed. I'm having constant headaches and can't stand up without wanting to pass out. The morning sickness went away for a few days and is now back with a vengeance. I stopped last night to see if I could focus a little more today. My toddler is running circles around me and its not fair to her that mommy can't function. I wouldn't try this unless you can't keep anything down at all."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "8 weeks pregnant with twins. Have severe nausea all day and evening. Take 2 pills before bed and it controls my symptoms until late evening the next day. Website for the drug warns of withdrawal symptoms and how to prevent them so do your research. Helps me to sleep all day. For me I would not take it during the day because it does make me drowsy. But without taking it, I would not last all day at work. Website also has coupons."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was prescribed this by my Obgyn and began the medicine as instructed with 2 at night & 1 the next morning. I woke up in the morning feeling angry and frustrated and was taking it out on my 2 year old & husband. I continued about my morning and took my daughter to daycare & realize something was not right about me. I was dizzy and feeling groggy and irritated. I was out of it for the rest of the day. I discontinued using the medicine and call my Obgyn the next day who told me I had a bad reaction to medicine. Bad stuff for me and now still living with the nausea and sickness vs feeling all of that from the medicine."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis is a life saver! Starting at week 6, I had terrible nausea and vomiting. It was so debilitating, I could barely keep anything down or function normally. About two weeks ago, my doctor prescribed me diclegis 4x day and its been a game changer. The only thing I've noticed is that I start to feel really sick again if I miss a dose or if I take the medication late, but other than that, I'm feeling great!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I have taken Diclegis for about a month now and it has been great for me. Just makes Me sleepier than ever ..but I can eat and that's what I needed considering I am already thin as it is.. This medicine has been a life saver even though I am having concerns if it will harm baby which had made me resort to just one a day.. Also the pharmacy told me the bottle was 700$ out of pocket.. Yikes.. I'm surviving off samples from office. Thank goodness!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting "Diclegis didn't help me with my severe nausea & morning sickness. Just in 2 days, I threw up 2 times nothing but blood! As it's side effects, Dizziness and stomach ache added to my morning sickness as well. I stopped taking it today & my doctor prescribed Zofran for me which I've started taking that since noon. I got better in less than 30 min with that!!! OMG! Can't believe that I feel normal again."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "The nausea was absolutely unmanageable before Bonjesta. I was throwing up almost every day and it was hard to eat anything. The drowsiness is real. The first few days I had a hard time waking up before 10:00 am, and was sleepy again by 6:00 pm. But - as many have said - I'll take the drowsiness over the nausea. At least I'm able to eat (still small meals, a little at a time, nothing with a ton of flavor) and stay hydrated. Also - my OBGYN gave me a coupon that brought the price down to $40. Otherwise with insurance it was $200 (no insurance closer to $800). So definitely ask for a coupon."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I'm pregnant with twins, and my nausea the first trimester (and a few weeks into the second) was debilitating. I was throwing up and needing to eat something every 2 hours, including at night. My doctor prescribed Bonjesta at my 8 week appointment (when we discovered there were two babies in there), and the relief was almost immediate. I could sleep through the night again, stopped throwing up, was less disgusted by the smells of food, and was able to snack throughout the day and go for walks/do prenatal yoga again instead of lie in bed miserable. I was worried to take a medication at all, but the impact it's had on my sickness has been incredible, and it's a tried-and-true combination that people have used for decades. The timed release is especially helpful. I only needed one tablet at night (instead of a second in the morning). It's definitely not cheap, but my husband and I both think it was worth it for me to be able to function again."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Overall diclegis has definitely reduced my nausea, so that I don't want to die 24/7. I can still notice the nausea some, especially when it gets closer to the next dosage. I am on 4 a day. It took two days to lessen the nausea, and I've still been vomitting once a day on average, and holding more back. I still need to keep stomach full, but at least I can drink sips of water and eat some food, other than only toast. The first three days I was a zombie. Now I can stay awake with caffeine in morning, a nap in afternoon. I don't know if i can return to work because I am so sleepy, which is the major negative. I was also constipated the first several days. I hate taking medicine, but i have two children to care for and was getting dehydrated."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis helps but it does not work completely. You will still have vomiting and have to take often if your morning sickness is severe. It can make you very tired and give you an out of sorts feeling. It was expensive as well at 40.00 a week worth of pills."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and I have been taking Bonjesta for five weeks. I have missed one day and in that day I’d vomited five times. Bonjesta does not completely take my nausea away (as I still have days where I do vomit), but it does take the edge off. I highly recommend this medication. Please use coupon when obtaining this drug from your pharmacy."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I wanted to feel better with bonjesta. My doctor prescribed it at 7 weeks and I have taken it twice a day but I still throw up twice a day and I'm almost at 14 weeks. This also makes you extremely tired and sleepy."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I swear this is a miracle pill, the brand name I take is called Bonjesta, before I started it I couldn’t even function as a human being, I laid in bed all day nauseous or was over the toilet dry heaving, now that I’m on it though I can actually do things and function, I’ve made the mistake of forgetting it one day and felt like garbage the whole next day(completely with throwing up while driving) until I could get to my medicine and take it, I still don’t have much of an appetite, but at least now I can actually eat food and drink water, before I started my medicine I couldn’t and ended up in the ER for fluid and lost a lot of weight."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Dealing with HG with all my pregnancies this is my 3rd and Diclegis is absolutely life saver. I'm afraid skipping a day to see if it's actually the pill or a good pregnancy. I went from throwing up 40x a day with my last pregnancy to one or none! I hope it'll help with heart burn also then it will be a 10 lol. Now it will make you sleepy and hard to get up the next morning another reason I'm giving it a 8 but I'm now 12 weeks and it's actually not getting me too sleepy any more as my body getting immune to it."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medication has been a life saver. I had terrible all day nausea, was losing weight from throwing up. As soon as I started taking it, my nausea decreased about 90% if not more. It does make you a bit sleepy, but i'll take that any day over nausea. Downside is the cost. They tried to charge me $750 for 100 pills.. Luckily I found a coupon online that got it down to $250. Pricey, but well worth it. Went from feeling like a sick zombie to feeling like a normal functioning human again. I was very hesitant to take any medication and do want to try to cycle off soon. I am almost 16 weeks now."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Before I took this medicine I was miserable. I didn’t have any morning sickness really in the first trimester but when the second one hit I was throwing up multiple times a day and through the night as well. Pedialyte and body armor were my go to and still didn’t work. Finally I took this. I take 2 at night and it kicks in. Once it’s time to take it again my body usually knows bc I start getting nauseous all over again as if it wasn’t in my body. I sleep better. It’s amazing and I hope the effects never wear off. I can actually eat now."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I been taking this medicine for about 3 weeks and it barely works for me. It actually caused severe drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. At first I chalked all that up to pregnancy till I figured it was the medicine causing this. I accidentally missed one dose and I felt horrible. The one of not many good things about this pill is its so small so it doesn't interfere with inability to swallow huge horse pills. I will be asking my obgyn for another medication so I can at least be awake throughout the day"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "My co-worker (who is also pregnant) suggested that I ask my doctor to prescribe Diclegis for me if I ever experienced nausea at any point in my pregnancy. I was sure I wasn't going to experience any of that until I hit week 7 & OH! I was in for a rude awakening. My nausea became horrible from day to day until I asked my doctor to prescribe something for my nausea. Of course, Diclegis was the medicine prescribed. After taking two at bed-time the first night, I didn't feel at all nauseated the next morning, therefore I didn't feel the need to take the morning dose. Now, only if I feel nauseated in the morning time, I'll take my morning dose (1tablet) and continue on with my day. The only downside? Diclegis can cause drowsiness."
