Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medication was horrible! I don't take medication to begin with but agreed with the doctor on this one because my nausea was so bad. I slept for 17 hours straight, when i finally woke up i was weak and hallucinating. On top of that I felt extremely depressed , negative and suicidal. Which is absolutely not like me, I am a very chipper happy person and I've never suffered from depression or suicidal thoughts. I live a very healthy fulfilling life and for a medication to do that to someone should not be sold on the market. I really did not like this medication though it did take the nausea away the other symptoms that came with it were not worth it. If I could rate this medication with a negative number I would. Going to stick to myginger"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I have been taking diclegis since I was 11 weeks pregnant. Prior to that, I was vomiting maybe twice a day and felt nauseous all day long (except at night). The first time I took diclegis, I was in HEAVEN!! I felt sooooo good. I was able to go a full day not even thinking about feeling sick. I thought that would be the effect the whole time.NOT!. I am 3 weeks in with taking diclegis, and it seems like the effect of it has worn off to a certain extent. I am back to feeling nauseous most of the day. I will say that the vomiting is still under control, but I vomit maybe once every 4-5 days (which is still progress). I am in my 14th week now and I want to see how I will feel if I don't take the meds, but I'm scared lol!"

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was experiencing pregnanacy nausea without vomiting from week 6 to current (week 8), I wasn’t able to eat, really only able to rest in bed for the most part, I tried bonjesta and it’s helped a great deal. I still experience slight nausea but it’s bearable and every so often I will actually feel hungry and am able to eat like normal. I have tried zofran as well which does help with nausea but backs you up badly, so be careful."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "10/10 I’ve had terrible nausea and vomiting since week 6, currently in week 11. Two nights ago I forgot my pill ONE night and the next AM projectile vomiting. What does this tell me? This WORKS and I will make sure I don’t miss another dose as I feel great when I do take it."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "With my first daughter 5 years ago I had pretty bad nausea but managed to get through it without needing any medication. This time around was a completely different story. I really tried to not take any medicine but after two days of being unable to consume any food it was time (I was 6 weeks). My doctor prescribed me Bonjesta and warned me it would make me tired. Boy was she right! I took this the first night around 9pm, woke up the next day and within 2 hours I had to lay back down for a 3 hour nap. The nausea has mostly gone away, but tonight it came back. I haven’t been taking it twice a day yet as I’m afraid I’ll be a zombie but I think it might need too. Works great for the Morning sickness but I just wish it didn’t make me so tired! Also, this is expensive. My insurance covered $600+ but I still had to pay about $135 out of pocket."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "It actually makes me vomit violently. It feels like it's burning a hole in my stomach. I've tried 3 different times. I have Hyperemesis and I take Zofran and Phenergan and when I try to add delcegis I vomit 10x back to back until it's out.... Awful awful stuff."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "So I took Diclegis for the first time last night after my doctor prescribed it. My first pregnancy I was sick for all nine months, multiple times a day. I am not almost seven weeks with my second, and the nausea and vomiting is starting again. I took the pill around 7pm which may have been a little too early. I did notice about an hour after taking the pill I did get some slight chest pains but nothing too serious. I slept like a baby all night, only getting up once to use the bathroom around 5am. The reason I gave the drug a rating of 7/10 is because of how I am feeling this morning. I have not had any nausea or vomiting, and have actually been able to eat a decent breakfast this morning. I am however stuck in this constant fog."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I’m 10 weeks pregnant and started getting nausea at 6 weeks. I was prescribed Zofran initially and that didn’t really help. Now on Bonjesta and it’s an improvement. I do have to take it morning and evening but it helps keep the nausea under control and sometimes takes it away completely. It’s still a bit of a struggle because it does make you more tired but I’ll take it. Anything but this nausea plz."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medication works wonders! I can take it without having to eat something before which was so helpful considering I couldn't hold any food down! I lost more than 20 lbs due to vomiting and nausea. And getting into a moving vehicle was the worse! I take one in the morning and I feel good all day! I love it so much, life saver."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I am currently 7.5 weeks pregnant, and I started experiencing debilitating nausea at about six weeks. I've been taking Diclegis for a few days now (2 before bed and 1 more during the day if necessary) and it's helped quite a bit. My nausea has decreased between 60 and 80%, and my appetite is returning. I actually went out to dinner with friends last night and enjoyed myself! I have had some drowsiness, but I can still get through my work day OK. And thank goodness for my great prescription coverage - $40/100 tablets! I hope it continues to control my symptoms this well."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine works wonders! I was having severe nausea & vomiting every morning to the point I was losing so much weight. My doctor prescribed me Diclegis , I take 2 at night & one during the day because of how tired it makes me. Ever since I've been taking it I've been able to hold down food & water & I've also gained an appetite. Without these I wouldn't be able to go to work. I love them!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Used this med for my last two pregnancies under doctors med advice. Hated it! All I could do while on this med was sleep. I felt high all the time and my doctor didn't seem to believe me. Maker claims it doesn't effect the baby however I'm not convinced. Only time I felt any baby movement was when I stop taking the medication. When I discontinued to use it I felt as if I was having withdrawals and was forced to continue it. I have four living children of which 2 of them I took zofran for nausea and they were all born healthy. The last 2 pregnancies both ended up in losses. Both had all the genetic testing normal. 1 was 13 wks the other 21 wks. I learned this drug was removed from mrkt for its dangers & reintroduced with minor changes made."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I took three. 1 in the morning, 1 around 1 p.m. and the nausea didn't stop so I took another one. My doctor said I should take 1 before every meal and 2 before bed or as needed. The label says take 2 pills before meals. My point being it made me feel horrible. It made me feel drugged up. I didn't want to move, I felt like I want to throw up and go #2 and just get out of my body. I'm never taking that again. Its 9:30 pm and I still feel drugged up. This drug is an antihistamine and messes with your brain. I should've read about it before taking it. Although I'm 8 weeks pregnant and nauseous all day and my Dr said it is given to all OB patients so I trusted him."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting "This medication gave me my life back. I started it yesterday and I do not need anymore time to try it out to review it. I was throwing up so much that I had thoughts of suicide and/or termination of pregnancy...and we planned for this baby. Anyone who knows me, knows those thoughts are insane for me but I couldn't take another day of laying in bed throwing up. I was expecting to fall asleep and not wake up based on the comments but I woke up completely fine at 6am and I took 2 pills before bed at 10pm. I was pretty tired until 11am, but I will take tired ANY DAY over being sick and nauseous. I could sleep like crazy right now but I will not stop taking these meds. It was $894 before insurance for 120 pills and my copay was only $40!!!!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I have been feeling pretty nauseous all day (first trimester of pregnancy) and my healthcare provider gave me a sample of this drug to try. I wanted to share my experience as all I've read are glowing reviews... Glad it's working for some people but have to imagine there are others who experienced something similar to me. I have taken it now for 3-4 days which should have been enough time to get a feel for whether or not it works. It did absolutely nothing for my nausea. If anything, it made me feel worse. I was so tired I couldn't function. Had to lay down in the middle of the day for a few hours, was feeling so tired and sick. I didn't take any last night and today I feel better than I have since I started taking it!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I took two of these pills and went into a full on RAGE for 6 straight hours. I couldn't control my emotions, my eyelids kept twitching, I felt like I was pumped full of anti-depressants and was in a cross-eyed fog. My nausea was definitely gone considering all the new horrible feelings I was enduring. The nurse said to "give it time". I have a two year old - I don't have a week or even a few days to be fueled by hatred and impatience. This medicine is horrible. Don't take it unless you want to experience extreme mood swings and irritability."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medication is the only medication on the market that has allowed me to live my normal life. I started taking it around twelve weeks pregnant because I was losing weight rapidly and couldn't even keep sips of water down. At first I had to take two at night and one in the morning to function. I am now fourteen weeks and have been getting by on only two a day. I tried not taking any at all today and I was great up until 9pm then I got so sick I threw my whole dinner up....unexpectedly. Immediately took two pills and now I feel much better. The only downside is how expensive this medication is. It cost me 186 per bottle of 100."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was afraid to take any medication, but my nausea was so bad that I was left with no choice. It didn’t seem to work the first week because I didn’t take it as prescribed because it made me so sleepy and I still had to work and take care of my other two kids. I buckled down and took it Morning, Noon and Night as prescribed. The nausea finally let up and I felt much better, but I never really felt like myself. I was low on energy and just felt foggy. My stomach would rumbled every time I ate or drank anything. I had anxiety about leaving the house because I always felt that I had to use the bathroom, but I was constipated. I listened to my body and stopped taking the medication for a few days and I felt like myself again, energetic and clear, but that didn’t last long. Once that medicine moved out of my body, I got sick as a dog. I’m taking the pills again, but here comes the side affects: insomnia, nightmares, light headed and fatigue. I hope the constipation don’t come back."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Bonjesta has been an absolute miracle lifesaver for me. This is my 5th pregnancy with horrible morning sickness 24/7. Diclegis didn't work, unisom barely worked, and I used to take Zofran daily to function. I had to pay out of pocket for this and it has saved me. I am still nauseous but I can eat, drive, and function and no more throwing up! I was sleepy for the first few days and it takes about a week to really work but now it's AMAZING. Highly recommend and it's super safe!"

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I started taking this during the first trimester. I'm usually against taking medicine, but I was soooo sick. So, I figured it was worth a try. At first, I didn't notice any change. I mean, I was still slightly sick. I was expecting the nausea to disappear completely like Zofran would have done. I kinda thought it wasn't working, so I decided to stop taking it...big mistake...my nausea was SEVERE once I stopped taking it. I decided to give it another go. By comparison, I could tell that it was working. I still feel tired, and certain things still make me feel sick (like strong smells and certain foods), but I am no where near as sick as I would be if I stopped taking it. I can totally tell if I miss a dose."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I cannot keep water down, let alone food, if I don't take this. I was hoping it would end after the first trimester and I could stop using it daily, but I'm 4.5 months and I still can't be without it. So grateful it's class A because I don't know how I'd work and function without it. Wishing I didn't need anything! Also, I should add...I only take half the dose: one at night and one in the morning. Two during the day is way too much; you'll feel drowsy and sedated. I learned that day one and realized I don't even need that much to alleviate the symptoms."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This was a life saver for me. I had HG with 1st and was on zofran only which caused a lot of constipation and cramping from not being able to go. This second pregnancy I had HG worse than 1st and was on zofran and diclegis. Diclegis took about 2 weeks of taking it 3x a day to kick in so zofran helped until it kicked in. Now diclegis is all I take 4x a day and no constipation and I finally enjoy being pregnant. It makes me tired but its good for me to relax since I'm a very active person. I only need a 30 min catnap and I'm ok. I can still easily take care of toddler I just lay down when she does."

Bonjesta (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I take one Bonjesta pill at night before bed. This medication is the only medicine that has helped with my extreme morning sickness. When I take the pill at night I feel less nauseated in the morning. I can eat more and I am not vomiting as much. I feel more like myself. I went from being sick 100% of the day to 20% or less some days. Definitely, worked for me."

Diclegis (doxylamine / pyridoxine) for Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Absolutely improved my pregnancy experience by reducing my nausea and vomiting. I was prescribed 2 tablets before bed, 1 in the morning and 1 mid day because I was extremely sick. They always recommended it to be taken with an empty stomach. I only took 2 before bed with food (because I refuse to take any pill on an empty stomach) and it worked wonders. If I ever forgot to take them I was guaranteed a horrible day."
