"I’m a doctor with ADHD. I’ve been on the generics to cut costs during tough times but I insist on the name brand adderall. No only is it smoother it lasts longer and helps even more than the generics. It’s a shame that cost is a bearing on necessary prescriptions and that generic are so much weaker and poorer quality. Generic adderall needs to step it up they have quality issues and their recipe is somehow flawed."

Mydayis (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I have suffered my entire life with ADD. For a while Adderal helped. Then as I turned 49 it seemed to make me more anxious, irritable, short tempered, and I had No patience for stupidity! Upon trying the Mydayis, I was immediately impressed. I was finishing projects. Getting things done right! Able to focus for longer durations of time. Long enough to complete tasks at hand. I feel so much better."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "Adderall saved me. I went back to college and was finally able to start passing school, my depression started getting better, my mood has become more stabilized, and I can enjoy things without getting "ADD freeze" as I like to call it. I started getting better at my job too. I love this medication! Thank goodness for adderall!"

Adderall XR (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "Went from 70mg Vyvanse to 25mg Adderall XR and I'll just say the Vyvanse was not effective for studying or focus, it made me confused, made me think too much and made me feel kind of bad. I switched to Adderall XR and I was immediately able to concentrate and focus, I was not confused anymore either. I am on 25mg now but I think 30mg may work just a little bit better, overall Adderall XR is the best thing I've ever taken for my ADHD! I also do not feel overstimulated or high from it which is a big plus because I'm a recovering opiate addict and I don't need something that is gonna make me feel like I need more."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I have no problem with generic Adderall. I get 60 30mg tablets by Alvogen and it works fine for me. I used to get the Teva brand but times are rough, as we all know. I'm very grateful for this medication because of my Tourette Syndrome and ADHD. It makes life hard to function, so I praise this medication for helping my tics and verbal stutters. It's incredible what Adderall can do when taken properly."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I floated through high school, got honors and graduated a year early. Did the same through a state college, even though I was accepted to Ivy leagues with scholarships. I chose the easy route as I hated books, and never read anything, despite being able to pass with a bachelors in college and honors in HS just on auditory lecture learning, I was scared to challenge myself. Went to nursing school 10 years ago and failed out. Then I tried again on Adderall - Out of a class of 140, I'm #1. Everything I read I absorb. I can NOW focus. Everything's wired tight and each day I am limitless on what I can learn. I feel music. I'm in touch with everything. I thank everyday I'm on it."

Mydayis (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I started on Vyvanse about 10 years ago. Eventually was taking 70mg in morning and 50mg in afternoon. I have a pretty hard time with tolerance issues which led me to abuse the vyvanse. This led me to switch to Adderall IR twice daily. Still didn’t fix the problem. Ask my psych about Mydayis and I can tell you it has an effect all day (definitely more then Adderall XR & Vyvanse) it gives you a more calming feeling while adderall caused anxiety & I felt I needed valium. My psychiatrist doesn’t mess around and since I’ve been taking amphetimines for years, he put me right on the highest dose 50mg. So far so good..."

Adderall XR (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I've struggled with ADD my whole life. When I was a kid I was put on Ritalin for a few years and it was amazing at helping me concentrate. Before I hit middle school my pediatrician ripped me off of it saying I "grew out of it". I went on through life thinking it was just in my head. I'm now 32. I was always fog headed and trouble concentrating. I talked to my doctor and she said I'd have to see a psychiatrist to get on the medication. My boyfriend's Mom talked to her family doctor and she said she would help me. I met with her and was put on Adderall XR 20 mg in the AM and 5mg IR in the afternoon. It's simply amazing. I lost some weight and I can clearly focus. My boss has noticed a huge difference and I got a promotion at work!"

Mydayis (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I can't believe all these negative reviews! The only praises I hear are ones that sound like "stage actors" who are planted in to these websites and being paid to boast about the wonders of this medicine. This medication was created because Shire no longer held the patent of Adderall, so came up with a new drug for doctors to push so Shire could make more money again- at the same time, all the generics of adderall that ones were so great, are now weak and inferior. I've never been so depressed and feel there is nothing to look forward to anymore after having adderall pulled out from underneath my feet. I just plug through my days just to get the day over with. My family suffers due to BIG PHARMA GREED!"

Mydayis (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I tried Mydayis as a substitute during the Adderal shortage as it has become nearly impossible to refill my medication without stress and a complete meltdown lasting for days. I went from 60 mg of Adderal, or combined type ADHD, to 50 mg of Mydayis. I have never taken a more ineffective ADHD medication. I was so disappointed. I thought this would be a good fit because Adderal XR and the other Adderal work wonders for me. I could tell no difference between not taking my medication and taking Mydayis. The FDA and DEA need to address the Adderal shortage by making more Adderal because these other substances are utterly ineffective at treating ADHD."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I was first diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 6. My parents at the time decided against treating my illness with any form of medication. This was in the mid-90s during a time where ADHD and ADHD medications were very controversial. This led to self-medicating with prescription opioids throughout my teens and early twenties. It wasn't until several psychiatrists continued to stress the importance of treating my ADHD that I finally decided to try the Adderall. And I can proudly say that it changed my life and saved me from a serious drug addiction. I'm now in my third year of school studying psychopharmacology. Thank you Adderall."

Mydayis (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I was taking Adderall 20 mg twice a day. It made me anxious and almost paranoid at times. I had extreme highs and extreme lows but I could focus. I have been on Mydayis for a week now and I do not have the anxiety I had with Adderrall and I am not super hyperfocused and chatty like I was on Adderrall. Mydayis feels more natural if that makes sense. I feel more myself now and even my bf said he notices a change. A good change. Also, I had a bit of sexual blah and found it difficult to be "happy" and Mydayis gave me my groove back. I can easily fall asleep but I noticed if I don't lay down and settled, I can stay up. I can definitely fall asleep on it. I like it. I think it depends on the person. I myself don't like feeling like I am bouncing off the walls and Mydayis doesn't make me feel that way but I am more organized and productive. Worth a try to see if it works for you. Feels healthier."

Mydayis (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I took Mydayis 37.5 mg for 2 years. I just recently ran out and decided to wait a week to refill. I cannot believe the change in myself! While on it I became withdrawn and too focused on 1 specific thing. I cut out people and ruined my small business. I didn't feel human! I can't explain the feeling but now that I haven't taken it in a week I feel like myself again! I was just flesh living day by day on mydayis! I will NEVER touch it again! Please tell me there's others out there with similar experiences"

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I stopped taking this medication 6 years ago because I built up a tolerance to it. But, it seriously was the best thing to ever happen to me. I've always had untreated ADHD and when I finally received treatment, I flourished. Now, after 6 years I am giving it a try again. So far it's working great. The two things I don't like about Adderall is that I talk WAY too much, share WAY too much information. In fact, I call up family members and talk to them to death.I had to write myself a note and tape it to the phone to not call or text anyone! And the second thing is the comedown, by the time the medication wears off, I am drained!"

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I've taken Adderall for 2 years. The first 6 months, worked very well. Balanced me out, kept me focused & side effects were minimal. But, the efficiency of Adderall has really gone down in my experience. I often find myself hyper focusing on things I don't need to & the side effects have gotten much worse. Insomnia, horrible dry mouth (= more cavities), I get antsy & shaky at times & I also feel I've become dependent on it. Next doctors appointment, I will be asking to switch out to something else. Its a good medicine at first, but understand that many of the great reviews are likely written by newer Adderall users."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "Once getting on adderall I found it gave me just enough euphoria to put down everything from alcohol to opiates, while giving me the drive and ambition to seek an engineering degree. I must warn people adderall is a stimulant, it's out of your body rather quickly (1-2 days) so addiction in the "physical withdrawal" sense is not much, although years of taking it will keep you relying on it -that's a PROMISE. Depending on the dosage you'll be severely lethargic and wind up sleeping a few days. Beware of the day's end, you'll likely need something to sleep, or relax which can cause problems. Despite the caution, you'll be a morning person and love it, just remember the word "moderation" and you'll be a new you!"

Adderall XR (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "It was a year ago that I was put on Adderall XR. The difference it has made in my life cannot even be explained with words. At 36 years of age, I went to my family doctor and got real honest. It was a humbling experience. I have suffered with drug addiction, depression, and major depression for many years, being called and labeled so many things since I was 15. I really was not sold on my doctor saying I was a clear-cut case of ADHD. Of course, I saw three different doctors in about three months and tried three different meds before my doctor put me on Adderall. After being on it for a year, I have gotten involved in a ministry, moved across the country, and am starting a new business in Texas. My wife of 14 years can't believe the difference."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I have ran the gauntlet of ADD meds, starting with Concerta then tried Vyvance which worked well in the beginning, then my Dr switched to Adderall XR, then to I R, which works best for me I take 20mg twice a day definitely helps with non stop thinking, racing thoughts, and just simply getting motivated. I have been on the IR for about a year and the highs are finally outweighing the lows. 39 years old and can see light at the end of the tunnel."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I knew I struggled with ADD in college but refused to go on medication because of the stigma associated with Adderall. My father has ADD as well and refused medications. Now at 56 he is homeless, can't hold down a job, can't control his finances, health, or any responsibilities. When I graduated college and started my full-time job I realized that I was heading towards the same path as my pops. I love my job and am very passionate about it, but following instructions or staying on task during an 8 hour work day was IMPOSSIBLE. 5mg of XR/day (2x on my v. busy days) saved my job and life! I feel like I finally have a clutch to support me with my disability now. It has improved every aspect of my life: social, financial, academic, etc."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I've been taking 60mg of Adderall a day for 14 years now. It's a miracle! I don't think I would have made it through high school or college without it. I started when I was 14 and starting high school. I loathed getting up early, but shortly after taking my pills I was awake and motivated to get ready and go about my day. It made boring classes seem more interesting. It gives you this focus and drive to be productive.I don't feel like myself without them. I'm cranky, unmotivated, eat and sleep a lot if I don't take it. Just be cautious with dosage. You do develop a tolerance to it over time. If your blood pressure goes way up and you feel jittery or shaky, your taking too high of a mg. People should start with 10 or 20mg at first."

Adderall (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "AHDH medications sucks. They don't treat ADHD believe me. They just delay it till the crash comes and you feel 40 times more worse. They have destroyed the lives of hundreds of people due to prolonged use. They are just street meth.Believe me I have ADHD and the best medicine I would suggest are a non-stimulants like welbutrin and strattera. If they didn't work for you then never ever use stimulants they will ruin your life. Just rely on adaptogens eg rhodiola, ginseng, good diet, exercise and meditation. If study is a problem for you then use you hyperfocus and study something that you are interested in.You may have found some good reviews about these stimulants however these people are new and they are unaware of there consequences. I have tried stimulants for 15 years so I am confident and sure about what I say."

Adderall XR (amphetamine / dextroamphetamine) "I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid because I was our typical class clown that didn't do anything in class. My parents took me to the doctor and I was prescribed Adderall and it did what is was suppose to but I absolutely hated because instead of playing at recess I would just read a book, so I quit taking it. Fast forward to freshmen year in college I was completely overwhelmed with school so I went back got tested and they put me on Vyvanse, it did the job but I was so mad when I was on it, they switched be to Adderall. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, make you productive. I went from a 3.0 to a 3.8 from this medicine. But make sure you eat, if you are on it your body will not tell you you're hungry."
