Furosemide - my doctor gave me these to loose weight I don't see anywhere that they are a water pill

Yes,I agree I was given a new extra medication for my blood pressure & an additional watt pill= Furosemide,which is "JUST THE NAME OF GENERIC "LASIX" & If u have gained some weight for whatever reason & your doctor does know about the weight gain & how ya pretty much gained the unwanted fluid weight, LASIX "THE GENERIC NAME IS FUROSEMIDE (furosemide) Its actually a very good water pill & taken as directed with a ton of water (literally just water) & eating as healthy as ur budget let's you,you should start seeing the lossage of the weight. You take them according to the directions on your label. It isn't a weight loss pill, it will make you loose a little weight because you'll pee it out but that's it.
