I am happy the med marijuana has helped you. I tried many of the tinctures and gummies with some fairly high THC levels. I had no relief. Could I kindly ask what specific form of med. marijuana
that helped? Thank you.
Try Vitamin D pills for BMS. I have been suffering for years and a therapist recommended a couple months ago and I have seen improvement..
Cannabis will not help and will probably make it worse especially if you smoke or vape. Good luck BMS is the worst thing I have ever experienced .
What dosage. There are many vitamin d out there
Nope. BMS and I have been aquainted since late 2009 and after many doctor, an Allergist and GP and Dentist and Oral surgeons and biopsies and no definitive anwer, my 2010 internet search came up with "Dermatolgy Whiz" Dr. R. Rogers. After many, many valid tests, discovered that Alpha Lipoic Acid was an answer to the symptoms of BMS; for me-- mouth inflamtion, secretion causing deep tongue ulcers (could have become cancerous), headaches with a tempature and lost voice. THANK YOU DR. ROGERS!!! My daily dose:1200 mg morning--1200 mg evening. Best buy so far,(not an advert) is Swanson 600 mg. Now, my symptoms are under control and I can tell if the ALA quality is good by how many 600 mg caps I have to take. After two years I have taken many different brands--most work to some/same degree as any other--even Swanson veries in qualitiy from time to time. Any Brand "R factor" ALA is claimed to be the best quality.
Also I am drinking 2 cups of Oolong tea a day. This seems to coat the BMS area in the front of my mouth. And it seems to help control dermatitis on my hands. Just started this regiment so jury still out.
I hope your head is clear enough to check your reponses. Did I offfend?
Weed should be reserved for the very sick and dying of us who can't stand the extreme pain associated with either. I never considered it an option, as I need to live and make a living. Don't despair, this is a better answer. Dr. Rogers has said the dose is specific to the individual and appearently there are no bad side effects noted in humans(my urine has a matallic smell). So take as much as you need of ALA (start low, at least 600 mg per day). So long and good luck.
i hope that that the person that asked this question will read your answer. You gave really good and detailed info
Hi ! its a long time since you posted this, but are you still available to message, BMS is ruining my life (for the last 10 yrs) no docs, hygenists herbalists can help, i should try Swanson ? will check with my doc as am on antidepressants to try to calm it down
with thanks

Hi. What you say is interesting. I live in the UK and this has never been mentioned by anyone, doctors or any mention within this group for BMS sufferers. Why and how was you prescribed this. I dont really think we could even get it prescribed here. At the moment I have taken my amitriptyline every day but recently I have been having times of hot chilli pepper sensations and feelings in my tongue, mouth and lips going into my throat and it is really getting me down. My BMS has definately interfered with my taste buds which has quite deteriorated. Has anyone else out there heard of this remedy or anything else that may help with BMS because it does not seem to be getting any better in fact the hot chilli burning is getting worse. Any help or further advice would be greatly appreciated by many of us. Medical or otherwise. Since joining this group quite a while ago not a lot of info has come thru. Thanks and happy new year, hopefully, to all BMS sufferers. Maybe there is an answer out there somewhere, sooner rather than later.
Sorry about your mouth. I imagine that it is truly miserable. maybe the -MJ- Mary Jane-reefer-pot-bud-blunt-weed-maui wowie-and I won't go into the 20 other names that are used here in New Mexico. That might be why I never heard of burning mouth before. I hope that you can find relief-
Medical Cannabis is also provided in Edible Form for those who do not Inhale. The lollipops and hard candy is a very good option for those with BMS THINK NATURAL
P.S. The Netherlands are not far from you. Also Online
So true-but I hear that they're cracking down.
Hello, I have BMS since a year. I live in Canada and I did many life events that triggered my BMS with depression and anxiety. I have been followed by a naturopath for the past year and therefore have found relief. I do take peppermint leaves and candies to take the burning sensation away. Any alcool will make the burning much worst so I don't drink and also foods with spices aggravate the burning sensation so that is out of the diet. I have found relief in not eating certain foods like citrus, milk products and also any wheat. Also acupuncture has helped me to get rid of the metallic taste in my food. It has been very hard but I can manage the pain much better. If I am stressed out then my mouth has a tendency to burn more so meditation, yoga, walks and taking care of my health helps to relieve the burning of the tongue and palate. I am in my premenopausal and don't know how long this condition is going to bother me. I am wondering if medical marijiuana would help to heal completely this condition. Anyone have any answers on this topic. Thanks
I might need that med-started cancer radiation in Burque yesterday. I know where several places are.
