Is anyone taking Kevzara or Actemra?

I was diagnosed with GCA and PMR on Oct7/23 from a biopsy after a 3 1/2mo. debilating migraine. I started at 50mg prednisone due to my weight (had lost 15 lbs so was 111 lbs) Prednisone is HORRIBLE but unfortunately necessary. I have been using the injection Actemra for 10 weeks and am weaning off Prednisone, currently at 7mg. I was super hesitant to take the injection for many reasons but I think the Prednisone is so much worse. Don't think I'm having any side effects from Actemra but perhaps some relapse and more pain from less Prednisone. I'm feeling "manageable" but just wish I could have my life back.

I am taking KEVZARA injections. After several months of sleeping in a chair because of shoulder pain and than knee pain, was finally diagnosed with PMR. within three days after first injection I was sleeping in bed, Shoulder pain diminished and knee pain gone. First injection was in November. I am on a two week schedule for injections. I am not on any other meds for PMR. Have not experienced any side effects.

I m Taking 70mg of Prednisone and Yesterday was my 1st Injection of Actemra 162mg. I Tried to Convince my Doctor to not to Take Actemra Right Away because of The Other Side Effect but He Told me that I will be on a High Dose of Prednisone for at Least 18 Months so With Actemra He will Lower The Prednisone Dose in a Few Months.
