CAMPYLOBACTER FETUS-LEPTOSPIRA CANICOLA-GRIPPOTYPHOSA-HARDJO-ICTEROHAEMORRHAGIAE-POMONA BACTERIN
Product Description: The bacterin product contains inactivated cultures of Campylobacter fetus and Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona with a proprietary adjuvant.
VL5 SQ Indications
For use in the vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in reducing infertility (reproductive disease caused by Campylobacter fetus) and as an aid in preventing leptospirosis (caused by Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo - including the L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo bovis, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona) and as an aid in prevention of urinary shedding of L. hardjo organisms.
Mixing & Use Directions: Shake vial well and inject 2.0 mL subcutaneously 14-60 days prior to breeding. If packaged with Vista® 3 SQ or Vista® 5 SQ refer to carton for complete directions. Annual revaccination is recommended.
Cautions: Store refrigerated at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze. Use immediately after opening; do not save partial contents. Burn the container and all unused product. Use only in healthy cattle. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Contains thimerosal as preservative.
