Canine Parainfluenza-Bordetella Bronchiseptica Vaccine
Modified Live Virus, Avirulent Live Culture
This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older against canine parainfluenza (CPI) virus and Bordetella bronchiseptica. A 1-year duration of immunity has been demonstrated. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.
Directions For Use
Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the sterile diluent provided and shake well. Draw contents back into the syringe, remove the needle and administer a single 0.5-mL dose intranasally. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
PrecautionsStore at 2°-8°C. Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures and/or direct sunlight may adversely affect potency. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Sterilized syringes should be used to administer this vaccine. Do not sterilize with chemicals because traces of disinfectant may inactivate the vaccine. Inactivate unused contents before disposal. Vaccination of pregnant bitches should be avoided. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. Do not mix with other products, except as specified above. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
