Vanguard CIV H3N2/H3N8This treatment applies to the following species:
Canine Influenza Vaccine, H3N2 & H3N8, Killed Virus
For use by, or under the supervision of, a veterinarian.
This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy dogs against canine influenza (H3N2 and H3N8) virus infection. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.
Directions For Use
Vaccination of healthy dogs is recommended. Shake well. Aseptically administer 1 mL subcutaneously. Healthy dogs 8 weeks of age and older should receive 2 doses administered 3 weeks apart. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product; consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.
PrecautionsStore at 2°-8°C. Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures may adversely affect potency. Do not freeze. Sterilized syringes and needles should be used to administer this vaccine. Contains gentamicin as preservative. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Do not mix with other products. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
