Sow Bac E Ii

This treatment applies to the following species:

Bordetella Bronchiseptica-erysipelothrix Rhusiopathiae-escherichia Coli-pasteurella Multocida Bacterin-toxoid

A chemically inactivated, adjuvanted product for use in healthy pregnant swine as an aid in the prevention of colibacillosis (caused by E. coli antigens K88, K99, F41, 987P), atrophic rhinitis and pneumonia (caused by B. bronchiseptica and P. multocida nontoxigenic type A and toxigenic types A and D) in their nursing piglets. This product is also used as an aid in the prevention of erysipelas in healthy pregnant swine caused by E. rhusiopathiae.

Dosage And Directions

Shake well, aseptically inject intramuscularly or subcutaneously with a 2 mL dose at 5 weeks and 2 weeks prefarrowing. Inject one 2 mL dose at 1-2 weeks before subsequent farrowing.

Sow Bac E II Caution

Store in the dark at not over 45°F (7°C). Do not freeze. Do not save partial contents. Burn the container and all unused product. Use only in healthy pregnant swine. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Contains thimerosal, gentamicin and polymyxin B as preservatives.
