Clostridium Perfringens Type C-Escherichia Coli Bacterin-Toxoid

Contains pili types K88, K99, 987P and Type 1

Aluminum Hydroxide Absorbed

Recommended for use in healthy pregnant gilts and sows to aid in the prevention of mortality and disease associated with E. coli expressing pili types K99 and 987P; prevention of colibacillosis caused by E. coli expressing pili types K88 and Type 1; and enterotoxemia caused by C. perfringens Type C.

ADMINISTRATION / DOSAGE: Shake well before use and administer using normal aseptic techniques. First Farrowing: Two doses are necessary for vaccination. First Dose-Inject 2 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly into healthy pregnant swine 6-7 weeks prior to farrowing. Second Dose-Inject 2 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly 3-4 weeks following first dose. Subsequent Farrowing: A single 2 mL dose should be administered 2-3 weeks prior to each subsequent farrowing.

Scourmune-C Caution

For veterinary use only. Store at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. If allergic response occurs, administer epinephrine.

PRESERVATIVES: Gentamicin, amphotericin B and thimerosal.
