Rhinogen Cte 5000

This treatment applies to the following species:

Bordetella Bronchiseptica-erysipelothrix Rhusiopathiae-pasteurella Multocida Bacterin-toxoid

As an aid in the prevention of atrophic rhinitis caused by B. bronchiseptica and the toxin of P. multocida serotypes A and D. Also aids in the prevention of erysipelas caused by E. rhusiopathiae.


Both sows and gilts and their piglets must be vaccinated as follows: Sows and gilts: 2 mL I.M. Give 2 doses at least 2 weeks apart with the second dose administered 2 weeks before farrowing. Revaccinate before each subsequent farrowing. Piglets: 2 mL S.C. at 7-10 days of age or prior to weaning. Repeat with a second dose in 2-3 weeks. Breeding stock: Vaccinate all new breeding stock with 2 doses given at least 2 weeks apart with first dose given at 6 months of age or prior to introduction into herd. Revaccinate boars with a single dose annually.

Rhinogen CTE 5000 Caution

For the vaccination of healthy swine. Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Store at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). Do not freeze. In case of anaphylactoid reaction administer epinephrine. Contains gentamicin as a preservative.
