Warnings
Treated birds must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 4 days after the latest treatment with this drug. Keep out of reach of children.Quinnoxine-S Indications
Chickens and Turkeys: Coccidiostatic as an aid in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis.
Quinnoxine-S is used in the prevention of coccidiosis and also protects the non-affected birds in a hen-house showing clinical signs of coccidiosis.
Quinnoxine-S Dosage And Administration
Prevention: When birds are moved to an area where they will be more susceptible to the disease, mix 30 mL of Quinnoxine-S with 20 L of drinking water. Give this medication for 2 consecutive days, then stop the treatment for 3 days. If necessary, repeat the treatment until all dangers of infection are gone.
Treatment: When clinical signs of coccidiosis are first observed, mix 30 mL of Quinnoxine-S with 20 L of drinking water and give to birds for 2 consecutive days; then, for the next 3 days, give water without medication. Continue this treatment for 2 days and stop for 3 days. Repeat until all clinical signs of the disease have disappeared.
During the treatment, medicated water should be the only source of drinking water.
For automatic proportioner: Set the apparatus to distribute 29.57 mL stock solution per 3.8 L of drinking water (1 oz/gallon U.S.). Prepare stock solution by adding 1 part Quinnoxine-S to 4 parts of water. Mix thoroughly.
Prepare fresh solutions daily.
Storage Conditions
Store between 15°C and 25°C. Protect from light.
