Prozap Zipcide Dust Caution
If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment.
For emergency information contact: National Pesticide Information Center at 1-800-858-7378 between 6:30 am and 4:30 pm Pacific Time. After 4:30 call your poison control center.
Note To Physician: Prolonged exposure will result in cholinesterase depression. Atropine sulfate by injection is antidotal. 2-PAM is also antidotal and may be administered in conjunction with atropine.

Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing.
Personal Protective Equipment (ppe):
Applicators and other handlers must wear: long-sleeved shirt and long pants, waterproof or rubber gloves, and shoes plus socks. Some materials that are chemical-resistant to this product are rubber or waterproof. If you want more options, follow the instructions for category A on an EPA chemical-resistance category selection chart. Loaders, applicators and other handlers must wear: long sleeve shirt and long pants, chemical resistant gloves (such as rubber or waterproof), shoes plus socks, chemical resistant apron and a NIOSH approved dust/mist respirator, MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC21C or NIOSH approved respirator with any N, R, P or HE filter.
User Safety Requirements: Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning / maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
User Safety Recommendations
Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Users should remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
This product is toxic to birds, fish and aquatic invertebrates. For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Coumaphos washed off of wading treated livestock may be hazardous to aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate.
Directions For Use
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Storage And Disposal
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
Pesticide Storage: Keep product in original container. Keep container tightly closed. High temperatures may shorten shelf life of product.
Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
Container Disposal: Completely empty bag into application equipment. Then dispose of empty bag in a sanitary landfill or by incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.
RESTRICTIONS - Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. Provide thorough ventilation while dusting. Do not apply to sick, stressed or convalescent animals.
The use of mechanical dusters is prohibited.
Entry Restrictions: Do not enter treated areas or allow contact with treated animals until dusts have settled.
Individuals must limit the number of animals they can treat per day with a shaker can to no more than 25 and the area of swine bedding that they can treat per day to 1,000 sq. ft.
For external, insecticidal use on specified animals only. Do not hang dust bags above or treat areas such as drinking cups, mangers, or troughs where livestock feed. Do not contaminate water, food, feed stuffs, food or feed handling equipment, or milk or meat handling equipment.
Cattle (Dairy & Beef) To control Hornflies and lice: DIRECT APPLICATION: Apply not more than 2 ounces*/animal. Dust evenly over the head, neck, shoulders, back and tailhead. Repeat as necessary but not more often than every 10 days. No interval is required between treatment and use of meat or milk for food.
Swine To control Lice DIRECT APPLICATION: Apply not more than 1 ounce*/animal as a uniform coat to the shoulders and back. Repeat as necessary but not more often than once every 10 days. No interval is required between treatment and use of meat or milk for food.
Horses To control Hornflies: DIRECT APPLICATION: Apply not more than 2 ounces*/animal. Dust evenly over the head, neck, shoulders, back and tailhead.
Repeat as necessary.
BEDDING TREATMENT: Apply 2 ounces* uniformly over each 30 square feet of fresh, dry bedding. Repeat as necessary, but not more than once every 10 days.
DIRECT APPLICATION AND BEDDING TREATMENT: In severe infestations, both individual animals and the bedding may be treated as directed above.
*NOTE: 1 ounce of this material equals approximately three level tablespoons.
LOUSE AND HORN FLY CONTROL: Suspend dust bags in areas frequented by cattle or in gateways or lanes through which the animals pass daily for water, feed or mineral. Bags may also be suspended in loafing sheds or in front of protected mineral feeders. For lactating dairy cows, dust bags may be suspended in the exit through which cows leave the milking barn. In all cases, the dust bags should be adjusted so that the bottom of the bag will hang four to six inches below the topline of the cattle. Manage the dispenser bag so as not to apply more than 1 oz. dust per animal per day.
INSTALLATION OF DUST BAG: (For refill, place contents of the package in any commercially available dust bag.) Suspend the dust bags by inserting rope, chain, or wire through the supports at the top of the bag and attaching to an overhead structure or by attaching to hooks fixed to a stationary overhead 2x4 at the height recommended for horn fly control. In areas of frequent or heavy rainfall, dust bag should be protected from the weather. Install as many dust bags as necessary in lanes or other openings to assure proper dusting of the animals. When dust bags are provided on a free-choice basis, allow one Dust Bag per 10 to 20 animals.
Regularly inspect dust bags for proper functioning and adequate dust supply.
Repair or replace damaged or mis-functioning bags promptly. Recharge with dust as necessary.
