Indication:

Premicide 277 is a multi-purpose disinfectant cleaner expressly formulated for use in animal- and food-processing facilities, as well as equipment. Premicide 277 is effective in warm, soft or hard water for use on a variety of surfaces including: tile, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, zinc, galvanized metal, chrome, hard non-porous treated wood, glass, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), vinyl, ethylene propylene, nitrile, acrylic, polyurethane, fibreglass and viton.

Active Ingredients:

Benzalkonium Chloride 27% w/w

Glutaraldehyde 7% w/w

Storage and Disposal: Store away from heat. Do not transfer to another container. Do not reuse empty container. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal. Plastic Disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent). Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke. Product Disposal: Product wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess product, spray mixture or rinsate is a violation. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instruction, contact the manufacturer.

Directions For Use

Prepare a 1:250 solution by using 4mL Premicide 277 per litre of warm water. Apply to surfaces according to use, as described below.

General surfaces, non-animal, non-food areas: Using a cloth, sponge, mop or mechanical coarse spray device, apply the 1:250 solution making sure all surfaces are thoroughly wetted. Allow surfaces to remain wet for 10 minutes and rinse with clean water. Allow to dry before reuse. All treated surfaces that will contact food, feed or drinking water must be thoroughly scrubbed with detergent and rinsed with potable water before reuse.

Boot/Shoe wash: Fill baths one inch deep with the 1:250 solution and place at all entrances to the building. Scrape waterproof boots/shoes and place in the bath for 10 minutes. Change the bath solution when the solution becomes visibly dirty.

Vehicles: Apply the 1:250 solution using a high-pressure/coarse spray system. Leave all treated surfaces exposed to the solution for 10 minutes or more and allow to air-dry. All treated surfaces that will contact feed or drinking water must be thoroughly scrubbed with detergent and rinsed with potable water before reuse.

Poultry house:

1. Remove all poultry and feeds from premises.

2. Remove all litter and droppings from floors, walls and all other surfaces.

3. Empty all feeding and watering appliances.

4. Thoroughly clean all surfaces with detergent and rinse with water.

5. Saturate surfaces with the 1:250 solution and let sit wet for 10 minutes.

6. Ventilate building, coops and all other closed spaces. Do not house poultry or use washed equipment until the treatment has been absorbed, set or dried.

7. Scrub treated troughs, feeders, fountains, waterers and all equipment which may come into contact with food or drinking water with detergent. Rinse thoroughly with potable water before reuse.

Danger: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Corrosive: causes irreversible eye damage and skin burns. Not for internal use. Use in a ventilated area. May be fatal if inhaled. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Do not breathe spray mist. Wear goggles or face shield. Wear a dust/mist/filtering respirator (msha/niosh Approval Number Prefix Tc-21c) or a niosh-approved respirator with any N, P, R or He prefilter. Wear protective clothing and rubber gloves. Prolonged or frequent repeated skin contact may cause allergic reaction in some individuals. Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Dangerous fumes form when mixed with other products. SEE MATERIAL SAFETY DATA.

First Aid

Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes; remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye; call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Skin: Remove contaminated clothing; rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes; call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Inhalation: May be fatal if inhaled. Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible; call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice; have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow; do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor; do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment. Note to Physician: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion may be needed.
