Contents: This bacterin contains five strains consisting of four serotypes of Pasteurella multocida, including two strains of serotype 3 x 4. The bacterin is emulsified in an oil adjuvant.

Multimune K5 Indications

This bacterin is recommended for use in healthy chickens and turkeys as an aid in the prevention of fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella multocida type 1 in chickens and types 3, 4 and 3 x 4 in turkeys.

Dosage and Administration

Give 0.5 mL subcutaneously in the lower neck region in a direction away from the head and parallel with the neck. In turkeys, the injection site is in the feathered area of the neck. Do not inject into muscle tissue or neck vertebrae. Turkeys should be initially vaccinated at 18 weeks of age or older and chickens should be initially vaccinated at 12 weeks of age or older. Birds should be revaccinated 3 to 4 weeks later.

Precaution(s): The bacterin should be stored, transported and administered in accordance with the instructions and directions.

Do not freeze. Store in the dark at 35°-45°F (2°-7°C).

Warm to room temperature and shake well before and during use.

Use entire contents when first opened.

Caution(s): This product contains an oil based adjuvant and accidental injection of this bacterin into a human may cause a serious localized reaction. Seek expert medical attention immediately.
