IRON INJECTION FOR HORSES
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS PER ML:
Iron (as ferric hydroxide-sucrose complex)
Hippiron 1000 Indications
As an aid in the treatment of iron deficiency in horses (equine anaemia).
Dosage and AdministrationWeaned foals and yearlings: 5 mL per 100 kg bodyweight. Adult horses: 10 mL per 100 kg bodyweight. By slow intravenous injection directly into the jugular vein, using aseptic technique.
CAUTIONS: Do not exceed recommended dosage. If symptoms of iron deficiency persist, consult a veterinarian.
ADVERSE EVENTS: Anaphylactic reactions have been reported with the use of this product. If an allergic reaction occurs, administer epinephrine, cortisone or antihistamine immediately, as indicated.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at room temperature (15°C-25°C). Protect from light. Do not refrigerate.
