HatchPak Cocci III Indications

This vaccine is recommended for the vaccination of healthy chickens as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis. It is essential that the chickens be maintained under good environmental conditions that include moisture for sporulation and free access to fecal droppings.

Exposure to other disease agents should be reduced as much as possible.

1. Do not open vaccine vial until ready to vaccinate.

2. Reconstitute vaccine at a rate of 21 to 30 mls per 100 chickens using non-chlorinated water. Dye may be added to monitor spray vaccination dispersal.

3. Administer a full dose to each chicken by spraying each box of 100 chicks with the appropriate volume of vaccine solution based on the dilution rate used to reconstitute (21-30 mls).

Do not vaccinate diseased chickens.

Vaccinate all chickens on the premises at one time.

Administer a full dose to each chicken.

Avoid stress conditions during and following vaccination.

Do not place chickens in contaminated facilities

Exposure to disease must be minimized as much as possible.

For veterinary use only.

This vaccine is not recommended for use on chicks receiving a feed containing a coccidiostat or high levels of antibiotic. Following vaccination, it may be necessary to use drugs for treatment of disease conditions other than coccidiosis. If such drugs, with a coccidiostat activity, are used during the first or second week post-vaccination of Merial’s Coccidiosis Vaccine, revaccination is recommended.

Merial’s vaccines have met the requirements of the USDA in regard to safety, purity, and potency.

HatchPak Cocci III Caution

The capability of this vaccine to produce satisfactory results depends upon many factors including - but not limited to - conditions of storage and handling by the user, administration of the vaccine, health and responsiveness of individual chickens and degree of field exposure. Therefore, directions for use should be followed carefully. The use of this vaccine is subject to applicable local and federal laws and regulations.
