Important Consumer Information

PURPOSE: Happy Jack’s Flea & Tick Powder provides quick killing action and long lasting control of fleas and ticks on dogs.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Apply powder liberally over the entire body. Work dust into hair and around feet, pads, and between the toe by rubbing against the lay of the hair until dust penetrates to skin. Contact ticks with powder. Take care not to get powder in animal’s eyes, nose, or mouth. Dust bedding, kennel, sleeping areas, carpeting and furniture used by infested animals regularly, applying at a rate of 3 to 6 ounces per 100 square feet. Do not repeat treatment for one week.



Happy Jack Flea & Tick Powder Caution

Harmful if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through skin. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Do not apply product directly in or on eyes, mouth or genitalia of animals. Do not use on (or cause exposure to) puppies less than 12 weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, medicated or nursing animals. Sensitivity may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Enviromental Hazards

This product is extremely toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Do not apply to any body of water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters.

First Aid

IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

IF SWALLOWED: Call poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHES: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate food, feed or water by storage or disposal.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency or 1-800-CLEANUP for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
