Germicidal Detergent & Deodorant

A concentrated multi-purpose germicidal detergent that disinfects, cleans, and deodorizes in one labour saving step.

Recommended for use in veterinary clinics, animal life science laboratories, federally inspected meat and poultry establishments, equine farms, poultry and turkey farms, dairy farms, hog farms, tack shops, pet shops, kennels, breeding and grooming establishments.

Effective against the following organisms according to AOAC use-dilution method:

Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella choleraesuis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Chlamydia psittaci, E. coli, E. coli (antibiotic resistant), Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Proteus mirabillis, Proteus vulgaris, Salmonella typhi, Serratia marcescens, Salmonella typhimurium, Streptococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa (antibiotic resistant), Staphylococcus epidermidis (antibiotic resistant), Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin resistant), Aspergillus niger, Shigella flexneri, Shigella sonnei, Klebsiella pneumoniae (antibiotic resistant), Staphylococcus aureus (antibiotic resistant), Streptococcus faecalis (antibiotic resistant), Enterococcus faecalis (vancomycin resistant), * Influenza Type A, * Herpes simplex type I, * Herpes simplex type II, * Vaccinia virus, * Rubella virus, * Adenovirus type IV, * Paramyxovirus, * Picornavirus, * Retrovirus, * Rhabdovirus, * Pseudorabies virus, * Coronavirus, * Rhinovirus

Directions For Use

General Use Directions for Disinfecting: For use on hard non-porous surfaces such as floors, walls, metal surfaces, stainless steel surfaces, porcelain, and plastic surfaces. Remove gross filth and heavy soil deposits, then thoroughly wet surfaces. Use 4 mL per litre of water (1:250 dilution) for surface disinfection - minimum contact time 10 minutes per single application. Can be applied with a mop, sponge, cloth, coarse spray or by soaking. The recommended use solution is prepared fresh for each use then discarded. Rinsing is not necessary unless floors are to be waxed or polished.

Mildewstatic Instructions: Will effectively control the growth of mold and mildew plus the odours caused by them when applied to hard non-porous surfaces such as walls, floors and tabletops. Apply solution of 4 mL per litre of water with cloth, mop, sponge or coarse spray making sure to wet all surfaces completely. Let air dry. Repeat application weekly or when growth reappears.

PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DANGER-CORROSIVE TO EYES AND SKIN. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wear goggles or face shield and chemical resistant gloves when using this product. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Harmful if swallowed.

FIRST AID: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, call a physician. Remove contaminated clothing. If swallowed, drink promptly a large quantity of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution, or if these are not available, drink large quantities of water. Avoid alcohol. Call a physician or poison control centre immediately. Take container, label or product name and product registration number with you when seeking medical attention.

NOTE TO VETERINARIAN: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion may be needed.

Disposal

Rinse the empty container. Make the empty container unsuitable for further use. Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements. For information on spills, and for clean-up of spills or the disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the Provincial Regulatory Agency or the Manufacturer.
