Directions For Use
Pre-cleaning prior to disinfection:
Apply Gamut Plus directly to surface. Wipe surface until visibly clean.
SURFACES
Disinfection of NON-CRITICAL equipment and other surfaces:
Pre-clean prior to disinfection. For disinfection, apply Gamut Plus directly to surface, thoroughly wetting an area to be disinfected. Allow surface to remain wet at room temperature (20°C) for broad spectrum disinfection for 5 min. Follow by wiping surface with a clean paper towel. Discard towel.
INSTRUMENTS
Instrument decontamination/pre-cleaning solution:
Fill a container with Gamut Plus. Completely submerge instruments, cover and allow to soak before cleaning, terminal sterilization or high-level disinfection. Change solution as it becomes diluted or visibly soiled.
Instrument pre-transport decontamination/pre-clean spray:
Place instruments into a suitable container and thoroughly wet all surfaces by spraying with Gamut Plus. Cover and transport to appropriate cleaning area. Rinse and follow with appropriate cleaning and disinfection process.
Ultrasonic cleaning solution/manual cleaner:
Thoroughly pre-rinse objects under running water to remove visible gross debris. Immerse instruments in Gamut Plus and activate ultrasonic unit for a minimum of 5 minutes. For manual cleaning, immerse instruments in solution and scrub using a stiff bristle brush until visibly clean (objects should be submerged as scrubbed). Rinse thoroughly. Change solution as it becomes diluted or visibly soiled.
Disinfecting NON-CRITICAL instruments/devices:
Pre-clean prior to disinfection. For disinfection, completely submerge instrument/device in solution for 5 minutes at room temperature (20°C). Rinse or wipe dry prior to use. Change solution daily or more often as solution becomes diluted or visibly soiled.
FIRST AID TREATMENT:
If swallowed, drink large quantities of water. If contact with eyes or skin occurs, flush thoroughly for least 15 minutes with water (contains isopropyl and polyethoxylated alcohols). If ingestion or eye contact occurs, contact a physician or Poison Control Centre IMMEDIATELY.
