Killed Virus

Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Bacterin

For vaccination of healthy pigs 3 weeks of age or older as an aid in preventing viremia, lymphoid depletion, and colonization of lymphoid tissue caused by porcine circovirus type 2; and as an aid in reducing PCV2 virus shedding and enzootic pneumonia caused by M. hyopneumoniae. A 23-week duration of immunity has been demonstrated against PCV2. M. hyopneumoniae duration-of-immunity studies are in progress.

Directions For Use

Shake well. Aseptically administer a single 2-mL dose intramuscularly. Fostera PCV/MH may also be given as two 1-mL doses administered 2 weeks apart.

Precautions

Store at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives. Allergic reactions, although rare, may occur. The antidote is epinephrine.
