FormaldehydeThis treatment applies to the following species:
Water and Methanol (Methanol 11.5 to 12.5%)
Solution: 40% by volume U.S.P. analysis by weight.
For use as an aid in preserving tissue samples.
Precaution(s): Store above 50°F.
Caution(s): For veterinary use only.
Warning(s): Poison. Causes irritation to skin, eyes, nose and throat. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapor. Use with adequate ventilation.
First Aid Treatment-Antidote:
If Swallowed: Give a tablespoon of salt in a glass of warm water and repeat until vomit fluid is clear. Give milk, or white of egg beaten with water.
Keep out of reach of children.
