For use in cats only

Felocell FeLV is a multiple viral antigen vaccine for vaccination of healthy cats as an aid in preventing persistent viremia, lymphoid tumors caused by feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and disease associated with FeLV infection. In development studies, Felocell FeLV was shown to be highly immunogenic, producing and priming for antibody responses to FOCMA and virus neutralizing antigens.

Directions For Use

Shake well. Aseptically administer 1 mL subcutaneously. Healthy cats 9 weeks of age or older should receive 2 doses administered 3-4 weeks apart. Historically, annual revaccination with this product was recommended. The need for annual revaccination has not been established; consultation with your veterinarian or the manufacturer is recommended.

Store at 2°-8°C. Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures may adversely affect potency. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Sterilized syringes and needles should be used to administer this vaccine. Contains gentamicin as preservative. Reactions following vaccine administration include stinging and vocalization. Vaccinated cats may also develop transient reactions such as injection site pain and swelling, depression, and anorexia. As with many vaccines, anaphylaxis may occur after use. Initial antidote of epinephrine is recommended and should be followed with appropriate supportive therapy.

This product has been shown to be efficacious in healthy animals. A protective immune response may not be elicited if animals are incubating an infectious disease, are malnourished or parasitized, are stressed due to shipment or environmental conditions, are otherwise immunocompromised, or the vaccine is not administered in accordance with label directions.
