The vaccine may contain traces of neomycin sulfate as preservative.
Active immunization of minks as an aid for preventing virus enteritis, Type C botulism and hemorrhagic pneumonia caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa serotypes 5, 6, 7/8 in mink.
An immune protection is developed approximately 3 weeks after vaccination and lasts at least 1 year.
Do not use for:
- vaccination of clinically ill and weakened animals, especially after transportation or transfer to different housings
- vaccination of pregnant vixens
A diffuse hard or soft swelling (max. diameter 1.5 cm) at the injection site could occur very commonly, regressing usually within max. 6 weeks without treatment.
Attention should be paid to vaccination hygiene and subcutaneous injection.

Target species: Mink
Dosage for each species, route and method of administration:
Basic immunization of kittens:
A single dose of 1 ml is to be administered subcutaneously between the 6th and 8th week of age at the earliest. If the first vaccination is affected by the presence of maternal antibodies, then a second vaccination can be given at an interval of 3-5 weeks.
Vaccination at least four weeks before the mating season.
An annual booster vaccination is recommended.
Advice on correct administration:
Shake the vaccine well before use.
Do not mix with other vaccines or immunological products.
Withdrawal period: Not applicable.
Special storage precautions:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store in a refrigerator (2 °C - 8 °C). Protect from light. Do not freeze. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the label. Opened bottles should be used up within 8 hours.
In case of anaphylactic reaction use epinephrine as symptomatic treatment.
Safety and efficacy data are available which demonstrate that this vaccine can be administered with the company-own distemper vaccine on the same day but must not be mixed.
No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medicinal product except the product mentioned above.
A decision to use this vaccine before or after administration of any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis.
