EquineVet Adsorbent Wound Powder Indications

For the management of all types of wounds. Adsorbs bacterial toxins and inflammatory substances that delay healing.

Directions For Use

Remove hair and debris from wound area. Cleanse area with a wound cleanser such as EquineVet™ Acemannan Wound Spray/Cleanser leaving wound bed moist. Cover the entire area with a layer of Adsorbent Wound Powder. Apply a hydrogel such as EquineVet™ Acemannan Smart Gel or use more cleanser over powder creating a smooth paste (poultice) to maintain moisture. Repeat daily or as needed.

For use as a poultice for tired, sore muscles follow same directions as above or can prepare a smooth paste with EquineVet™ cleanser or gel prior to application.

In an emergency involving hemorrhage, EquineVet™ Acemannan Adsorbent Wound Powder can be used to aid in blood clotting through liberal application of the powder to the hemorrhaging area and the application of appropriate compression for three minutes. Repeat as often as necessary to stop the bleeding.
