MIXING AND FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: The enclosed scoop holds approximately 1 ounce of dry powder by weight.

CALF: Mix 1 bag of Colostrum Supplement into 2 quarts of warm water. Bottle-feed 2 quarts of solution as soon as possible following birth. Bottle-feed an additional 2 quarts of solution 1-2 times in the first 24 hours of life. Tube feed if necessary. For calves that have received some colostrum, provide 1-2 feedings.

FOAL: Mix 2 level scoops of Colostrum Supplement into 1 cup of warm water. Bottle-feed 1 cup of solution every 2 hours for the first 12 hours of life, then every 3 hours for the next 12 hours. For foals that have nursed the dam, feed every 3-4 hours.

Note: Amounts suggested are for a light breed foal that will mature at about 1000 pounds. A pony foal requires about half and a draft foal may require up to twice the amounts recommended.

LAMB OR GOAT KID: Mix 2 level scoops of Colostrum Supplement into 1 cup of warm water. Bottle-feed 1/4-1/2 cup of solution every 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life. For pygmy goats, feed about half of this amount every 3-4 hours. For lambs or kids that have nursed the dam, feed every 6 hours. For pygmy goats that have nursed, feed every 4-6 hours.

CRIA (LLAMA OR ALPACA): Mix 2 level scoops of Colostrum Supplement into 1 cup of warm water. For llama crias, bottle-feed 4 to 6 fluid ounces of solution every 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life. For alpaca crias, bottle-feed 3 to 4 fluid ounces of solution every 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life. For crias that have nursed the dam, feed every 6 to 8 hours.

FAWN OR ELK CALF: Mix 2 level scoops of Colostrum Supplement into 1 cup of warm water. For fawns, bottle-feed 1/4 to 1/2 cup of solution every 3 to 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life. For elk calves, bottle-feed 1/2 to 1 cup of solution every 3 to 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life.

Note: Male elk and deer that are bottle-fed should be castrated to help prevent dangerous aggressive behavior.

BABY PIG: Mix 1 level scoop of Colostrum Supplement into 1/2 cup of warm water. Bottle-feed 1 fluid ounce of solution every 2 to 3 hours for the first 24 hours of life.

REMINDER: Feed is perishable. Store this product in a cool, dry area away from rodents and insects.

Warning
