Co-op Injectable IronThis treatment applies to the following species:
Veterinary Use Only
For piglet anemia caused by iron deficiency.
Each 1 mL contains equivalent of 100 mg iron as ferric hydroxide in complex with a low molecular weight dextran fraction and 0.5% phenol as preservative.
Using a sterilized needle (20 gauge x 5/8") inject 2 mL into neck muscle of each pig at 2-4 days of age. One 2 mL injection provides 200 mg of iron, enough to protect against iron deficiency until well after commencement of creep feeding. Dose may be repeated in 10-14 days if necessary. CO-OP Injectable Iron is completely absorbed from the site of injection and is fully utilized by the pig. Causes no toxic reaction and no staining of flesh in injection area when administered to piglets.

Storage: Store at room temperature.
