Concentration: One level teaspoon contains approximately 2000 mg D-glucosamine HCL.
Loading Amount: Average Horse: 2 to 4 teaspoons twice daily. Horses over 1200 lbs: 4 to 6 teaspoons twice daily. The animal should be kept on the loading amount for 4 to 6 weeks. The amount may be increased but should not be decreased during this period. If response is not clinically evident after 30 days, the loading amount should be extended two more weeks. Maintain the loading amount until the horse shows signs of improvement. Each week, gradually reduce the total daily amount until a maintenance amount is determined. Watch the animal’s movement to ensure it is feeling comfortable through the transition,
Maintenance Amount: Average Horse: 1 to 2 teaspoons twice daily. Horses over 1200 lbs: 2 to 4 teaspoons twice daily.
