INDICATIONS: For use as an aid in the treatment of milk fever, grass tetany and other conditions associated with calcium, magnesium, and phosphorous deficiencies of cattle.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Cattle: 250 mL to 500 mL. For intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous administration. Dosage should be divided over several sites for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. Massage the points of injection to aid in absorption and to help prevent inflammation and/or sloughing. For the most effective dosage, consult a veterinarian.

CAUTIONS: Aseptic precautions should be observed such as withdrawing from the bottle through a sterile 14 or 16 gauge needle into a sterile syringe. Disinfect the site of the injection. If no improvement is noticed in the condition being treated after 3 to 4 days of treatment, the diagnosis should be re-evaluated and appropriate measures taken. Large doses administered intravenously may have a toxic action on the heart if the blood level of calcium is raised excessively. Doses should be carefully regulated according to the severity of the hypocalcemia and injected slowly so that administration may be stopped if toxic action becomes evident. Unused portion in bottle must be discarded. Solution should be warmed to room temperature and administered slowly.

STORAGE: Store above 9°C. Protect from freezing.
