Duration of immunity has not been established for this product. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see

Vaccination by eye drop (vials of 1000 doses only) or in the drinking water is recommended at 5 weeks of age or older.

The need for revaccination has not been established; consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.

Eye drop administration: For use with vials of 1000 doses only - rehydrate with 30 mL diluent provided. Remove overseal and stopper from the vaccine vial and pour part of the diluent into it. Shake well and pour the vaccine back into the remaining diluent. Place the dropper tip on the diluent bottle. The vaccine is now ready for administration via eye drop. Hold the bird on its side with one eye turned up. Administer one drop of vaccine into the open eye and hold the bird until it swallows. To prevent injury, avoid touching the bird’s eye with the dropper tip.

Drinking water administration: Remove overseal and stopper from the vaccine vial and add clean non-sanitized water to it. Shake well and pour the vial contents into a container of non-sanitized water. Dilute the vaccine as outlined in the chart below. A dried skim milk powder should be used a vaccine stabilizer at the rate of 2.1 g per liter of drinking water. Add the skim milk powder to the water prior to reconstitution of the vaccine. Remove medication or sanitizers from the drinking water 24 hours before and 24 hours after vaccination. Rinse waterers with clean non-sanitized water. Remove water from chicks at least 2 hours before vaccination. Provide adequate space so that at least 2/3 of the birds can drink at one time. Add vaccine mixture to the water as per the following chart:

Age of birds

Amount of water per 1000 doses

Meat type birds

Layer type birds

5 to 8 weeks

9 to 15 weeks

16 to 20 weeks

Divide the mixed vaccine into the waterers.

Provide no other drinking water until all vaccine has been consumed.

Vaccination reaction: A mild respiratory reaction can appear 3 to 7 days after vaccination. The development of this reaction is influenced by the level of parental immunity and/or previous infectious bronchitis vaccinations. Symptoms usually subside within 10 days post vaccination.

Storage temperature: Store at 2° to 8°C (35° to 46°F).

Vaccinate only healthy birds.

If there are susceptible laying birds on the premises, there is the possibility that the virus might spread from the vaccinated to the susceptible birds and affect egg production.

Use entire contents when a vial is first opened.

Inactivate unused contents before disposal.

Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the labeling.

Keep permanent vaccination records, including vaccine serial number.

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

Contains gentamicin as a preservative.

In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Newcastle disease virus can cause an inflammation of the eyes and eyelids of humans; caution should be used not to allow the vaccine to come in contact with the eyes.
