Aspirin Boluses (240 Grains) Indications

For use as an aid in reducing fever and for mild analgesia in beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, calves and foals.

Dosage and Administration

Administer 1 to 2 Aspirin Boluses to mature beef cattle, dairy cattle and horses two times daily and 1 Aspirin Bolus to calves and foals two times daily. Lubricate each bolus with mineral oil prior to oral administration.

Discontinue treatment if any unusual symptoms should appear. Provide treated animals with fresh drinking water following administration of Aspirin Bolus.

Not a USP Dosage form. Dissolution testing required by the aspirin bolus USP monograph is limited to a 5g label claim and therefore, is not conducted on Aspirin Bolus, which is a much larger dosage form that contains 15.552g active / ingredient.

Composition

Each bolus contains:

Acetylsalicylic Acid (Aspirin)

240 gr (15.552g)

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Do not store above 30°C (86°F). Keep lid tightly closed and store in a dry location.

Keep tightly closed when not in use.
