Directions For Use
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Ready to use. No mixing necessary. This water-based formulation may be applied directly as a spray, or as a wipe-on.
Horses And Ponies
Repels biting and nuisance flies, mosquitoes and gnats for up to 17 days. Repels and controls house flies, stable flies, horn flies, face flies, horse flies, deer flies, black flies, mosquitoes and gnats on horses.
WIPE ON METHOD: First, brush animal to remove excess dirt and dust. Moisten (but do not wet to the point of dripping) a soft cloth and rub over the hair. It is best to apply by rubbing against the hair growth. Give special attention to the legs, shoulders, shanks, neck and facial areas where flies most often are seen. Only a light application is required. Avoid using an excessive amount on your horses. Do not wet skin. After application, brush thoroughly to bring out bright sheen on the coat. Repeat as required.
SPRAY MIST METHOD: Apply to face, legs, flanks, top line and other body areas commonly attacked by flies. Do not wet horse’s skin or exceed 60 mL per application (30 seconds of spraying delivers approximately 60 mL of product). After application, brush thoroughly to bring out bright sheen on the coat. Repeat treatment as needed.
PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Contents under pressure. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat or store at temperatures over 50°C.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS: May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Wear rubber gloves while handling this product.
HAZARDS TO ANIMALS: Avoid contamination of feed and foodstuffs. Use on Show, Race, Work or Pleasure horses only. Do not use on horses intended for slaughter, nor on newborn or nursing foals. Do not apply directly to eyes and mouth of animal. Do not wet the skin, nor cover horses immediately after treatment. Do not apply to back of animal just before saddling.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD: This product contains a petroleum distillate which is moderately to highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Avoid contamination of aquatic systems during application. Do not contaminate these systems through direct application, disposal of waste or cleaning equipment. Apply product only as specified on the label.
FIRST AID: If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If inhaled, move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to mouth, if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice. If swallowed, all a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Treat symptomatically. This product contains petroleum distillates. Vomiting may cause aspiration pneumonia.
Storage And Disposal
StorageStore in a cool area above 0°C and protect from freezing.
DisposalWhen container is empty, press valve to release pressure. Dispose of empty container in regular garbage. Do not puncture or incinerate.
