What the medicine is for
Zerocream is a smooth white opaque cream which softens and moisturises the skin. It relieves the symptoms
of flaking, dry or chapped skin. It can also be used for ichthyosis (an inherited scaly skin condition),
traumatic dermatitis (inflamed skin caused by outside agents), sunburn, the dry stage of eczema and certain
dry cases of psoriasis (a chronic skin disorder).
Before you use this medicine

• An allergy to any of the ingredients listed.
! Pregnant or breastfeeding
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have any ill effects when used as directed. If unsure,
talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
! Important Ingredient Information
This medicine contains cetyl alcohol, lanolin and hydroxybenzoates which may cause local skin reactions
(e.g. contact dermatitis) or allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
9How to use the medicine
• If the cream comes into contact with dressings or clothing, the fabric can be more easily ignited with
a naked flame. Keep away from fire when using the product.
Apply the cream to the skin.
Adults, the elderly and children: Apply to the affected areas of skin two or three times a day. Rub well
into the skin.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
! If you accidentally swallow some see a doctor straight away. Take the pack with you to show which
medicine you have swallowed.

Possible side effects
Rarely, mild skin reactions (e.g. an allergic rash) can occur. If you notice any side effects, stop use and tell
your doctor or pharmacist. They will tell you what to do.

Storing the medicine
Do not store above 25°C.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Use by the date shown on the side of the carton.
Active ingredients: liquid paraffin 12.6% w/w, white soft paraffin 14.5% w/w.
Also contains: lanolin anhydrous, glyceryl monostearate, cetyl alcohol, sodium cetostearyl sulphate, citric
acid monohydrate, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, phenoxyethanol, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), ethyl
hydroxybenzoate (E214), propyl hydroxybenzoate, butyl and isobutyl hydroxybenzoate and purified water.

• Zerocream® is an emollient used to treat the symptoms of flaking, dry or chapped skin; ichthyosis (an
inherited scaly skin condition); traumatic dermatitis (inflamed skin caused by outside agents); sunburn; the
dry stage of eczema and certain dry cases of psoriasis (a chronic skin disorder).
• If you find you are sensitive to the cream stop use and consult a pharmacist or doctor if you have cause for
concern.
• Caution: Parahydroxybenzoates may cause an allergic reaction (possibly delayed).
Lanolin and cetyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions (eg. contact dermatitis).

• Application: Adults, children, and elderly.
Apply the cream to the dry skin areas two or three times daily, and rub well into the skin.
