Like all medicines, Veno’s Honey and Lemon Syrup can have
side effects, but they are very rare.
Stop taking the medicine and seek immediate medical help
if you experience:
• Allergic reactions. These may include developing a rash,
swelling or difficulty breathing.

4. Possible side effects

• Do not give to children under 2 years.
• Do not take more frequently than every 2 hours.
If your symptoms persist, see your doctor.

Do not exceed the stated dose.
Consult a pharmacist or other healthcare
professional before use.
Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
Take a 15 ml dose (three 5 ml spoonfuls) every
2 to 3 hours as needed. Do not take more than
8 doses in 24 hours.
Children aged 6 to under 12 years:
Give a 10 ml dose (two 5ml spoonfuls) every
2 to 3 hours as needed. Do not give more than
6 doses in 24 hours.
Children aged 2 to under 6 years:
Give a 5 ml (one 5 ml spoonful) every 2 to 3 hours
as needed. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

3. How to take Veno's Honey and Lemon Syrup

1. What Veno's Honey and Lemon Syrup does

Veno’s Honey and Lemon relieves the symptoms of tickly
coughs and sore throats. The medicine contains three active
ingredients: glucose liquid, honey and lemon juice to help
relieve your symptoms.

2. Check before you take Veno's Honey and
Lemon Syrup

Do not take Veno's Honey and Lemon Syrup:
• If you have ever had an allergic reaction to glucose
liquid, honey and lemon juice or to any of the other
ingredients (listed in Section 6).
Sodium metabisulfite (E223) may rarely cause severe
allergic reactions and breathing difficulties.

Active ingredient: Each 5 ml dose contains Glucose Liquid 4 g,
Honey 0.29 g and Lemon Juice 0.25 g.
Other ingredients: Ammonium chloride, citric acid
monohydrate, xanthan gum, sodium metabisulfite (E 223),
sodium benzoate (E 211), sodium citrate, levomenthol,
propylene glycol, water, lemon flavour, honey flavour and
caramel colour (E 150).
Packs of Veno's Honey and Lemon Syrup contain 100 ml or 160 ml.

Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Use within 6 months of opening.
