Tesco Antiseptic lozenges blackcurrant.
Read all of this carton before taking this medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you need more information or advice. These lozenges are recommended for sore throats and coughs. The active ingredient has antiseptic properties in a soothing base.

Possible side effects
These lozenges do not usually cause any side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms which you think may be due to this medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. These lozenges do not require any special storage conditions. Do not take after the expiry date (last day of the month) printed on the carton after Use by.

Do not
Give to children under 3 years. Take these lozenges if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients.

Ingredients
Active ingredient: Each lozenge contains: Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg. Also contains: Sucrose, Liquid Glucose, Tartaric Acid, Levomenthol, Blackcurrant Flavour, Brilliant Black (E151), Ponceau 4R (E124), Sodium Ascorbate, Ascorbic Acid.

Each lozenge contains a total of 2.4 g of sucrose and glucose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine. This should be taken into account if you have diabetes mellitus. The colours Brilliant Black (E151) and Ponceau 4R (E124) in this medicine may cause allergic reactions. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Adults, the elderly and children 3 years and over: Suck one lozenge slowly as required. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose If you take too many lozenges: Talk to a doctor or pharmacist straight away.
