What each pastille contains:
Active Ingredients: Menthol 0.6% w/w, Benzoin Tincture 0.5%v/w, Star Anise Oil 0.02%v/w, Peppermint
Oil 0.02%v/w.
Other ingredients: Modified Starch (Tapioca, Maize), Sucrose, Liquid Glucose, Capsicum Tincture,
Vegetable Oil, Quinoline Yellow (E104), Green S (E142), Beeswax, Water.

About this product:
These pastilles are recommended for the relief of symptoms of bronchial catarrh, coughs and colds. The
active ingredients help to decongest and provide a more productive cough by loosening and thinning
the mucus that blocks the airways.
Do not take these pastilles:
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Before taking this medicine, speak to your pharmacist or doctor
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars. Each pastille
contains a total of 0.8g of sucrose and glucose. This should be taken into account if you have
diabetes mellitus.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Dosage
Suck one pastille slowly as required until it dissolves.
Adults, the Elderly and Children over 12 years: Do not take more than 12 pastilles in 24 hours.
Children over 6 and up to 12 years: Do not take more than 8 pastilles in 24 hours.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Not recommended for children under 6 years.
You must contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve.
If you take too many pastilles: talk to a doctor or pharmacist straight away.
Possible side effects
If you get any of these serious side effects, stop taking this medicine. See a doctor at once:
Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat and rash (severe allergic
reactions).
If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects
not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme
at:www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. By reporting side effects you can help provide more information on the
safety of this medicine.
How to store these pastilles:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use after the use by date. Do not store above 25 C.
Store in the original package.
