Ransom’s Marshmallow Ointment
(Althaea, Allantoin)
For soothing and relief of the symptoms of pimples, boils and blackheads

Before you use this medicine
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
This ointment contains benzoic acid which may cause mild irritation of the skin, eyes and other
sensitive areas. It also contains lanolin which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
How to use this medicine
Adults and children: apply morning and evening to the affected part and cover with lint.
If symptoms do not go away talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If anyone accidentally swallows some see a doctor straight away.
Possible side effects
Most people will not get side effects. Some of the ingredients may cause mild irritation or local skin

Storing the medicine
Do not store above 25˚C. Store in the original container. Keep the container tightly closed.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Use by the date shown on the label.
Active ingredients - althaea (marshmallow) BPC 1949 6.66% w/w and allantoin 1% w/w
Also contains: beeswax, liquid paraffin, soft yellow paraffin, hydrous wool fat (lanolin) and benzoic
acid (E210).
Ransom’s Marshmallow Ointment is available in glass jars containing 28 or 56gms.
