6 - FURTHER INFORMATION

What PHYTOSLIM contains
- Each hard capsule contains 130 mg of Bladderwrack thallus (Fucus
vesiculosus L.).
Each hard capsule contains between 33 and 245 micrograms of iodine.
- The other ingredients are: Alginic acid, Hypromellose (capsule shell).
What PHYTOSLIM looks like and contents of the pack
Each pack contains 45 hard, colourless and transparent capsules containing
greenish brown powder.

Bladderwrack thallus 130 mg
Read all of this leaflet carefully before you start taking this medicine because
it contains important information for you.
This medicine is available without prescription. However, you still need to use
PHYTOSLIM carefully to get the best results from it.
• Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again.
• Ask your pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner if you need more
information or advice.
• You must contact your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if your
symptoms worsen or do not improve.
• If you experience any side effects, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

1 - WHAT PHYTOSLIM IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

PHYTOSLIM is a traditional herbal medicinal product used as an aid to
slimming as part of a calorie controlled diet, based on traditional use only.

2 - BEFORE YOU TAKE PHYTOSLIM

DO NOT TAKE PHYTOSLIM IF
- you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Bladderwrack thallus or to any of the
other ingredients (See section 6) or to iodine (Each capsule contains between
33 and 245 micrograms of iodine).
- you have a thyroid disorder.
- you are taking any medicines or dietary supplements containing iodine or
are taking a medicine for a thyroid disorder.
- you are under 18 years of age or are elderly.
TAKE SPECIAL CARE WITH PHYTOSLIM
If your symptoms worsen or persist during the use of this medicinal product,
a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
TAKING OTHER MEDICINES
Please tell your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner if you
are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines
obtained without prescription.
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING
Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE.
This product is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years
of age or the elderly.
IF YOU TAKE MORE PHYTOSLIM THAN YOU SHOULD
If you take more than the recommended dose and feel ill, talk to your doctor
or pharmacist. An overdose may lead to thyroid disorders.
IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE PHYTOSLIM
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose and continue to
take the usual dose at the usual time.
IF YOU STOP TAKING PHYTOSLIM
You can stop taking PHYTOSLIM at any time.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor
or pharmacist.


4 - POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

No side effects have been reported. However, like all medicines, this product
could have side effects. If you experience any side effects, consult your doctor,
pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner.

DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
No studies have been performed.
However it is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or use machines.

You can help to make medicines safer by reporting any side effects to the
Yellow Card Scheme at www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. Alternatively you can
get a paper Yellow Card form from your GP’s surgery or pharmacy, or call free
phone 0808 100 3352 (available from 10am-2pm Monday-Friday).





3 - HOW TO TAKE PHYTOSLIM

For oral use only.
Adults (18 years and above): Take 1 capsule twice a day, morning and evening,
15 minutes before meals with a large glass of water.
This product must be used in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet and
extra exercise.
If your symptoms worsen or persist during the use of this medicinal product,
a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.

5 - HOW TO STORE PHYTOSLIM

Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use PHYTOSLIM after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle after
“Exp”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Store below 25°C. Store in the original package.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required.
These measures will help to protect the environment.
