It contains important information for your treatment.
This medicine is available without prescription. However, you still need to use
PHYTOCLEANSE carefully to get the best results from it.
• Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again.
• Ask your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if you need more
information or advice.
• You must contact a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if your
symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks.
• If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not
listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

1 - WHAT PHYTOCLEANSE IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
PHYTOCLEANSE is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the
symptomatic relief of digestive disorders such as dyspepsia and flatulence
based on traditional use only.
2 - BEFORE YOU TAKE PHYTOCLEANSE
DO NOT TAKE PHYTOCLEANSE IF
- you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance, to plants of the
Asteraceae family (Compositae) such as daisies, marigolds, or to any of the
ingredients. (see Section 6 Further Information).
- you are suffering from:
• obstruction of the bile duct or intestinal tract
• cholangitis (angiocholitis)
• liver disease
• gallstones and any other biliary disorders.
- you are under 12 years of age.
TAKE SPECIAL CARE WITH PHYTOCLEANSE
- Do not take more than the stated dose.
- If your symptoms worsen or persist after 2 weeks, consult your doctor or a
qualified healthcare practitioner.
TAKING OTHER MEDICINES
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken
any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
No studies have been performed.
However it is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or use machines.
3 - HOW TO TAKE PHYTOCLEANSE
Adolescents, adults and elderly:
Take 2 capsules, 2 or 3 times daily during meals with a large glass of water. If
your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks, consult your doctor
or a qualified healthcare practitioner.
Not for use in children under 12 years. For oral use only.
Don’t take more than the stated dose.
IF YOU TAKE MORE PHYTOCLEANSE THAN YOU SHOULD
If you take too much and feel ill, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE PHYTOCLEANSE
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose and continue your
regular dosage regimen as described in this leaflet.
IF YOU STOP TAKING PHYTOCLEANSE
You can stop taking PHYTOCLEANSE at any time.
If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor
4 - POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, PHYTOCLEANSE can have side effects, although not
everybody gets them.
Mild gastro-intestinal disorders (flatulence diarrhoea with abdominal spasm,
epigastric complaints like nausea, flatulence and heartburn) as well as allergic
reactions may occur.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed
in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
You can help to make medicines safer by reporting any side effects to the
Yellow Card Scheme at www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard.

5 - HOW TO STORE PHYTOCLEANSE
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use PHYTOCLEANSE after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle
after “Exp”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Store below 25°C. Store in the original package and keep the bottle tightly closed.
