What is Meted? Meted is a shampoo used to treat
seborrhoeic dermatitis, scalp psoriasis and dandruff. It
helps to reduce scalp itching, irritation, redness, flaking and
scaling and is a mild antiseptic. Meted is used to lift the
dandruff flakes from the scalp and help to control the
micro-organisms thought to cause dandruff. Meted also
contains Panthenol, a conditioner that leaves hair
manageable after washing. The active ingredients are
salicylic acid and sulphur. Other ingredients are: sodium
laureth sulphate, sodium cocoyl sarcosinate, cocamidopropyl
betaine, hypromellose, magnesium aluminium silicate,
panthenol, fragrance and water.

How to use Meted: Shake bottle before use. Massage
Meted into wet hair and scalp. Lather, rinse and repeat.
Use at least twice a week, or as directed by your doctor.
Suitable for adults and children. Do not allow Meted to
come into contact with the eyes; if it does, rinse thoroughly
with water. Meted may cause skin irritation and redness in
some people. Do not use this product if you know you are
allergic (hypersensitive) to salicylic acid (aspirin), sulphur or
any of the ingredients of Meted. Using too much of this
medicine or using it for too long may mean your body
absorbs too much salicylic acid (salicylism), the symptoms
include ringing in the ears, feeling or being sick. If this
occurs, or you notice any other symptoms, stop using
Meted and consult your doctor. If your condition does not
improve, gets worse, or if you notice any other side effects,
consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not store above 30°C. Do not use after the expiry date
printed on the base. The expiry date refers to the last day of
that month after EXP.
