1. What this product is and what it is used for
This product contains Dandelion root with extracts of Boldo leaf, Uva Ursi leaf and Bladderwrack
thallus. It is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve symptoms in mild cases of water
retention, based on traditional use only.

2. Before you take this product
Do not take this product if you are:
 Under 18 years of age or elderly
 Pregnant or breastfeeding
 Allergic to the active substances, plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family, iodine or to
any of the excipients.
 Suffering from an obstruction of bile duct, inflammation of the bile duct (cholangitis), liver
disease, gallstones, peptic ulcer or any other biliary disorders
 Suffering from a thyroid or kidney disorder
 Suffering from kidney or heart failure or diabetes
 Suffering from a condition where a reduced fluid intake is recommended (e.g. heart or kidney
disease).
 Taking any other medicines or dietary supplements containing iodine, any medicines for a thyroid
disorder or a diuretic medicine

Taking other medicines: Tell your doctor before starting to take this product if you are
taking any other medicines, including any bought without a prescription.
3. How to take this product
For oral use only

Adults: One or two tablets daily with water.
To

ensure an increase of the amount of urine, adequate fluid intake is required during treatment.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Not recommended for use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age or the elderly.
If you experience fever, spasms, difficulty urinating or blood in your urine, consult your doctor or
qualified healthcare practitioner.
Duration of use: If the symptoms persist for more than one week, a doctor or qualified health care
practitioner should be consulted.

If you forget to take this product: Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose(s).
Continue to take your usual dose at the usual time. It does not matter if you have missed a dose.
If you accidentally take too may tablets: Consult your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner
and take this leaflet to show them. Overdose of this product can lead to thyroid disorders.

4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines Herbal Water Retention Tablets can have side effects. Possible side effects are:
 Anaphylactic shock(serious allergic reaction which causes difficulty in breathing or
dizziness)., hypersensitivity (anaphylaxis)
 Gastrointestinal disorders such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach ache
 Allergic reactions,stomach pain and excesss stomach acid.
 Uva ursi leaf may cause a greenish-brown colouration of the urine
In cases of anaphylactic shock contact a Doctor or a qualified Healthcare Practitioner immediately.
For other side effects, if these persist for more than a few days, or become troublesome, stop taking
this product.
If side effects mentioned above or other effects occur, a doctor or qualified health care practitioner
should be consulted.

5. How to store this product
 Keep the tablets in the bottle until it is time to take them
 Do not take the tablets after the expiry date (see outer label)
 Store the tablets below 25oC
 Keep the bottle tightly closed
 Keep the tablets out of sight and reach of children

6. Further information
About this product: This is a traditional herbal medicinal product that contains Dandelion root
with extracts of Boldo leaf, Uva Ursi leaf and Bladderwrack thallus.
Each tablet contains:
64.8 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Boldo leaf (Peumus boldus L.) (4:1) Extraction solvent:
Ethanol 50 % v/v
24.4 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale Weber ex Wigg..)) (3-5:1)
Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60% v/v
32.4 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Uva Ursi leaf (Arctostaphylos uva ursi L.) (2.5-4.5:1)
Extraction solvent: Water
45.8 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Bladderwrack fucus (Fucus Vesiculosus L.) (1.7-3:1)
Extraction solvent:
This product also contains the following inactive (excipient) ingredients: Calcium Phosphate
Dibasic, Potato Starch, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid, Ethylcellulose N100, Maltodextrin,
Colloidal anhydrous silica.
