Eurax HC Cream is a non-greasy, non staining skin cream to treat:
• skin conditions caused by substances such as bleaches, soaps and detergents, jewellery etc. • insect bite reactions.
It effectively reduces inflammation and quickly relieves itching and associated scratching which can further
aggravate irritated skin.
Do NOT USE if you: • are allergic to any of the ingredients • have cold sores, acne or athletes’s foot • have
weeping open skin wounds • are pregnant or breast-feeding without medical advice • are a child under 10 years.
Do NOT PUT the cream in/on your, eyes, mouth, anus or genital area. In case of contact with eyes, rinse
immediately with water.
Cautions: contains stearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, propyl hydroxybenzoate (E216) and methyl hydroxybenzoate
(E218), all of which may cause local allergic skin reactions. If this happens, stop using the cream.
Directions: Adults and children over 10 only: use sparingly on a small area twice a day. Do not cover the area
with dressings. If the condition does not improve within 7 days, consult your doctor.
Possible Side Effects: Occasionally you may get irritation at the site of application, such as a burning
sensation, itching, or contact dermatitis/contact allergy. Stop using the cream if you experience severe skin
irritation or any symptoms not listed. If accidentally swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
Eurax HC cream contains stearyl alcohol, propylene glycol which may cause local allergic skin reactions
(contact dermatitis); propyl hydroxybenzoate(E216) and Methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), which may cause
delayed allergic reactions. If this happens, stop using the cream.
Reporting of suspected adverse reactions
Reporting suspected adverse reactions after authorisation of the medicinal product is important. It allows
continued monitoring of the benefit/risk balance of the medicinal product. Healthcare professionals are asked
to report any suspected adverse reactions via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25ºC. Do not use after the expiry date given.
Active ingredient: Crotamiton 10% w/w & Hydrocortisone 0.25% w/w.
Also contains: Stearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, white soft paraffin, polyoxyl 40 stearate, propyl hydroxybenzoate,
methyl hydroxybenzoate, pH modifier
(sulphuric acid) perfume and water.
