Symptom Checker

Step 4: Read and complete the decision guide to learn more about your symptoms.

Swollen Glands (General)

So far you have indicated that you have felt one or more swollen lymph nodes, but none in your groin or armpit. If you only feel them in your neck, please visit our Health Decision Guide titled Swollen Glands in the Neck.

It's rare to have a swollen lymph node that is not in the neck, groin or armpit. Rarely, a lymph node can be felt above either elbow or in the navel (belly button). If you do think you have a swollen lymph node in an unusual place and it is not completely gone after seven to ten days, contact your doctor.
