Lumps or Pain Within the Scrotum

Contact your doctor and arrange an appointment. You may have harmless swelling of the testicle or the lump may not actually be part of the testicle. However, there is the possibility that this is a testicular cancer. It's particularly important to seek medical attention if the lump is getting bigger over time.

Your doctor may be able to make a diagnosis simply by examining you. Additional testing, such as an ultrasound, may be necessary.
