Angela Cole Joins Lyonheart As Executive Vice President, Director Of Client Services

NEW YORK, NY, October 21, 2009 – LyonHeart announced today that Angela Cole has been hired as Executive Vice President, Director of Client Services.

Ms. Cole will lead the coordination and integration of a major new account won by LyonHeart and seven other Omnicom Group agencies across the breadth of marketing channels, including medical education, professional promotion, CRM, media, consumer advertising and digital initiatives. She will also help lead LyonHeart’s future business development initiatives, reporting directly to Anne Devereux, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LyonHeart. Angela is the second Executive Vice President to join LyonHeart’s executive ranks this year. (Janet Donnelly, who joined the agency after a stellar career at Grey Healthcare and GSW, was the first.)

Angela began her career as a staff nurse in 1988 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, in the renal/liver transplant unit and then, building on her strong analytical skills, moved on to perform research and data collection for the US Department of Health and Human Services. After receiving an advanced degree from Emory University (a Master’s in Public Health), she went on to manage a series of community outreach programs in the greater New York area.

Transitioning her academic and practice credentials to the educational space, in 1997 Angela joined Lally, McFarland & Pantello (LM&P), where she directed a management team in the medical education arena, servicing clients including Roche Laboratories and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. While there, she was integral to the creation and expansion of a network of leading physicians and allied health professionals, securing their involvement in presentations, symposia and conference participation on behalf of her clients.

Angela quickly rose through the ranks at LM&P, eventually moving to Cline, Davis and Mann, where she led multidisciplinary teams on behalf of clients in the oncology, neuroscience, genomic and animal health arenas.
