What is ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir (Technivie)?
Ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir (Technivie) is a combination antiviral medicine used to treat genotype 4 chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) in adults without cirrhosis or with a certain type of cirrhosis (compensated cirrhosis). ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir is given together with another drug called ribavirin.
Ombitasvir, paritaprevir, and ritonavir may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
If you have ever had hepatitis B, Technivie can cause this condition to come back or get worse. You will need frequent blood tests to check your liver function.
Technivie is used in combination with other medication. Read the medication guide or patient instructions provided with each medication in your combination therapy. Do not change your doses or medication schedule without your doctor's advice.
