2 potential interactions and/or warnings found for the following 2 drugs:
- tovorafenib
- ubrogepant
Interactions between your drugs
ubrogepant tovorafenib
Applies to: ubrogepant, tovorafenib
Consumer information for this interaction is not currently available.
ADJUST DOSE: Coadministration with moderate or weak inducers of CYP450 3A4 may decrease the plasma concentrations of ubrogepant, which is primarily metabolized by the isoenzyme. Dedicated drug interaction studies have not been conducted to assess concomitant use of ubrogepant with moderate or weak CYP450 3A4 inducers. Ubrogepant exposure may be decreased by 50% when used with moderate or weak CYP450 3A4 inducers, per a conservative prediction from the manufacturer. Reduced efficacy of ubrogepant may occur.
MANAGEMENT: The manufacturer recommends an initial ubrogepant dose of 100 mg when coadministered with moderate or weak CYP450 3A4 inducers. If needed, a second 100 mg dose of ubrogepant may be administered at least 2 hours after the initial dose.
Drug and food interactions
ubrogepant food
Applies to: ubrogepant
Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can increase the blood levels of ubrogepant. This may increase side effects such as nausea and sleepiness. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Your doctor may be able to prescribe an alternative that does not interact, or you may need a different dose to safely use your medication with grapefruit and grapefruit juice. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
